Atmosphere in Richmond

“I worked in London for about two years and was staying near Tangawizi. I ate there a couple times a week many many times over that two year time frame. I absolutely love it there. The food is phenomenal and always has the highest quality ingredients. The service is exceptional as well. Eight years later, we returned to the UK for my 60th birthday and I wanted to visit them again due to the fond memories I had. Our dinner this evening was just as phenomenal as ever. The flavors and freshness of the ingredients was incredible. The King tandoori shrimp are a favorite of mine and I literally got another order for dessert rather than a normal dessert. They thought I was joking when I ordered it for dessert! I travel frequently for business and have had the opportunity to eat at many phenomenal restaurants and they are at the top of the list with the best! I’m so happy they made it through the pandemic and now celebrating 20 years. I would highly recommend Tangawizi!”

“This place deserves much higher review points. Everything is perfect. Literally perfect It has been around many years. Feels so cosy with carpet and cushion decoration. Lighting and music really on point and good. Really helpful staff. Enough time between the meals. Had beef tartare and tempura squid and prawn as a starter. Burger and beef stroganoff for main. Cost around £60 per person inc service charge which is really reasonable for the quality they are providing. Thanks”

The menu changes often - to tickle your taste buds, but old favourites are always available. The food is fresh, perfectly cooked and tremendously tasty. I highly recommend a visit - you will not be disappointed.”

“This is one of the best restaurants we have been to in London. The staff were lovely and the food was absolutely fantastic. The use of spices was incredible, if you order the potatoes (Aloo Tuk) you will spend the entire meal trying to figure out what they are seasoned with. Absolute magic. “Sat a outside on a cute street with lots of small village charm. This is an adorable petit French bistro! Unfortunately the chicken dish was out, so I opted for the vegetarian item of the day. It's was delicious. I started with the French onion soup, per recommendations. It was good, but I regret not trying something else. Highly recommend stopping by after a visit to Kew!”

“I’ve had a fantastic experience at Sheen Dental. I needed quite extensive treatment, and Dr. Kalsi provided a total solution with great care and skill. He’s brilliant — gentle, thorough, and explains everything clearly. The communication throughout has been excellent, which really helped put me at ease. Lisa is wonderful too — so friendly and supportive, she makes the whole process smooth. I’m so glad I found this practice — highly recommend!”

“Very elegant, nice and quiet place for breakfast or lunch. Feeling warm and cozy sitting by the side of the window. It’s shame that the menu is not available today but still have variety food selection including toast, sandwiches, cake, tart or cookies etc. Latte smell really good and hot. The seller patiently explain to us what ingredients for the sandwich while my little one can’t eat spicy. It’s a 5 stars cafe!”

“I stumbled into MJ Medispa and Hair Salon last summer as I was desperate to have my hair cut and my usual hairdresser was fully booked. And I am so pleased that I did! Marianna has been doing my hair since July and I cannot recommend her enough. Please please go and see her if you can, she’s the best cutter, and hair highlighter I have ever met. Reminds me, must book to go and have my hair done!”

“I have been to all the barbers in Putney trying to find one to settle with and finally went to Reza's Barbers today. He is extremely friendly and you can tell he cares about his job, he took time to find out exactly what I wanted (which the others didn't) and delivered it perfectly. Best fade I've had and would definitely recommend him!”

“I've been to Happy Nails on 3 occasions now and each time I have left the shop a very happy lady. Ami took care of my nails for me and ensured I was happy with the outcome - I am a little adventurous with my nail designs and she has taken on each challenge without any issues. I am also a disabled customer and they have been great about ensuring I am as comfortable as possible. I also had a lovely pedicure done by Mia on my last visit, the massage and hot towel on my feet and legs was my favourite part after my summer nail design. I'm going to be a regular customer :-D”

“We came here for dinner via the Fork. Place is close to Richmond station with free parking nearby after 4:30pm. We got the poppadum. We had the pani puri, sheekh kebab and paneer tikka. All were great with a kick to it. For the main we got Lamb saag and chicken curry with naan and rice. The food was quite spicy and flavourful. Bill was around £55 which is reasonable.”
