“Really lovely park cafe. The staff are so friendly. Lots of people came and talked to the owners/staff. Very welcoming. The food was delicious and clearly homemade. I can't wait to make their vegetarian roll. Love when you talk to someone who works in a cafe and knows whats in it and how it is made. Very impressed. And tasty desserts. “Great place to hire a venue. I have just organised a Teens party in the Alexandra Hall and everything worked perfectly well. The communication with all parties involved was excellent, and the venue has everything for a great party: large space, as many tables and chairs as you need, a mini kitchenette, enough sockets on the wall and a lift to carry everything to the Hall. We managed to fit in an Inflatable photo booth, a long table for 30, extra tables for activities and a dancing area with a DJ. Definitely a venue that to know about if you are local…or not, as it has easy access from the A4 and the A316.”

We had our reunion lunch here a couple of weeks ago. we have been doing this for a number of years and the food is always fantastic, service quick and friendly and always a great atmosphere . How they can offer, to a large group, such a great range of meals to such a high standard is beyond me. We have already booked for next year !”

“I had black Americano and my wife had cappuccino, we both really enjoyed our drinks a lot. My Americano had that light fruity aftertaste that you often only find with very high quality, it was genuinely very delicious. The interior is relaxing, calm and light and we really appreciate the soft music as well, not at all over the top. I love what this place is going for, as I am new to the area it's nice to find a place nearby that I know I can be comfortable in. The woman serving us on Monday 6th was also very kind.”

“We had our Work Christmas Lunch on 18/12/2025, the Christmas menu was AMAZING! Plenty of food on the plate, we ordered some extra trimmings, which wasn't necessarily needed but definitely happy we had them as the food was sooo good we just could stop eating! Service was friendly and the whole lunch was a success. All my team commented afterwards how great the Christmas Lunch was this year. Thank you very much!”

“We’ve visit The Britannia several times over the past few years (every time we visited Richmond) and the experience was great every single time. On our most recent visit we tried the cheese soufflé, the fish and chip and the turbot. Every dish was delicious, fish on both mains was cooked to perfection, service was friendly and courteous. Wine list is great as well. Highly recommend for a great night out and exceptional food experience.”

“I enjoy the quick in-and-out no wait in line grab and go experience of Amazon Fresh. I have now been half a dozen times and their food is good value and delicious. Ribs, fries, pastries, veg and fruit all good value and quality. The invoice via Amazon web or mobile app also shows you how long you were in the store! NO MORE WAITING!!”

I would recommend Kurk Grill Bar for a light evening meal and catch-up with friends. The portions are just right, so one felt sufficiently satisfied and not over-full, and the prices were more than reasonable.”

“This Caffè Nero is wide and spacious. It’s not far from the train station. Tucked away in a small alley, you will find this Nero in a quiet corner. It wasn’t so busy on a Sunday morning. The staff were nice and polite.”

“I love popping into this store. Very easy to scan in using your amazon account. My spouse and I shopped together only using my account with no issues. If you need help, there's a very cheerful staff member prepared to help you right at the entrance. The use of technology to improve the corner store shopping experience is truly fantastic. The store was well-stocked with everything you'd expect to find at a local corner grocery shop - dry goods, snacks, cold drinks, hot food, ready-to-eat meals, fresh produce, dairy, etc. The prices were also extremely fair. You'll find many AmazonFresh labeled items - similar to a store branded item. It's truly a breeze to walk in, pick up what you need and then walk out. We received our receipt, which was accurate, approximately 2 hours later.”

“Well very handy for me as si close to my house. Staff very friendly and accommodating. Small shop but I’ve got all I want. Very popular to nearby residents. Not bad at all and open until 11 pm. Well expect the prices a bit higher than the big shop around.”
