“We had the full (English) breakfast on the menu consisting of Toast, mushroom, baked beans and turkey rashers. My wife and I don’t take eggs so we requested for more portions of turkey rashers instead and they were lovely to oblige us. We had it with orange juice - and speaking of the orange juice, the best so far I’ve had in the uk. Real Orange juice which I believe was just blended and not Tesco orange juice. The breakfast was tasty and filling. The service was great too.”

“This is an amazing looking place. Completely unique. The nexus is interesting and everything is reasonably priced, especially considering its location. Ate here today. Quirky relaxed dining area, with reasonably priced food for the location.”

“Ordered some food for take away, first time ordering from here and was recommended by my friend that the breakfast here was really good. The staff were very friendly and accommodating, as I wasn't sure what to order and what I could get as take away. We got the pancakes nutella and toasty mediterranean. The food looked amazing and tasted great, would definitely recommend it. I also overheard another customer asking for their eggs to be changed to well done and the staff immediately redid their egg for them without a moments hesitation, thumbs up from me. The cafe was very comfortable and had a welcoming environment. I even noticed a corner with a doll house for children to keep themselves occupied if need be. Edit: went back again for the Turkish sandwich and ice vanilla latte, such a taste bud delight”

“This Café is owned by a Turkish couple that is absolutely lovely and friendly. The cakes are all homemade by the wife and taste amazing (we got the pistachio and orange poppy seed cake). The portion size is really generous and I couldn’t recommend them more ☺️”

“It was my first time here and I really enjoyed it. I’ve been living in this area for so many years, and I can’t believe I hadn’t noticed such a place before. It’s truly wonderful — both the food and the warm welcome from the staff. Thank you very much for everything, everything was perfect. I look forward to visiting again.”

“A really incredible food experience made better by the kindest and most enthusiastic team of chefs and staff. Every course was delicious, balanced, and well conceived. Each course also had such a different take on a new element than the last, constantly impressing. We loved hearing how each dish was contrived and redesigned from earlier iterations and seasons. At the end of our night, the staff were kind enough to spend extra time answering our questions about their ferments, reuses, and zero-waste methods. It was a really special experience! My parents, who are not typically a fan of vegetarian heavy dinners, absolutely loved it! A great spot for anyone interested in local, foraged, fermented, or thoughtful ingredients and dining.”

“Very good and delicious dishes freshly prepared in the kitchen. The cappuccino is very good (I'm Italian) and the apple walnut cake is excellent. The staff is very kind and knowledgeable. Family-friendly atmosphere, with very light and pleasant music. The restroom with baby changing facilities is not suitable for wheelchair access. Highly recommended.”

“Interesting breakfasts options, and tasty ones. I tried Turkish eggs for the first time, and with that yogurt and sourdough it was delicious. Flat white was milkier than I'd expect but good anyway. The waitress was friendly, and in general, the place has a good vibe, it wasn't crowded or noisy.”

Well priced - super clean and no frills - clean display cabinet - nice music and clean toilet. I loved it so much I stayed to read my book and have another beverage. “Part of the St. Martin's Hotel experience, this lovely little Cafe is connected and situated next door. The ambiance is relaxing and chill. There is a nice selection of coffees as well as a small selection of baked goods and sandwiches. The cappuccinos that I had during my stay were delicious! The best part of the experience were the staff. Alex and Tetiana were outstanding! Their commitment to excellence and professionalism were amazing. They were personable, helpful and just very nice people. They were the main reason that my group kept coming back. The level of service was top shelf. When I return to London, I will definitely make a point to stop by Ella's Mia!”
