“I love this place. The food is just great pizza. For banging price. You don’t find this especially in this part of london no more. I almost cried. I got the margherita pizza for just under 6 quid. All pizzas are stone baked to perfection, thin crust just the way i like it. It’s simple. I loved the vibe too. I don’t think there is a single fault. See the photo for proof of how much i loved it”

“Had lunch at UMU today and was blown away. The space has such an elegant atmosphere—calm, refined, and perfect for a mid-day escape from the city noise. The menu was outstanding; every bite was fresh, delicate, and perfectly balanced. It really is luxury Japanese dining at its finest. The service was exceptional as well, with great recommendations and attention to detail. A flawless experience from start to finish. “I hired the Post Restaurant for my 50th birthday party. The venue is beautiful and is a great space for dining and once tables are cleared a great space to mingle and dance. I had both a private buffet dinner followed by a party. The food, staff and execution of the whole night was excellent. .I cannot thank Pamela and her team enough for their professionalism, high quality customer service and attentiveness to me and my guests. I would recommend The Post in Penge and will definitely be back!”

“Eltham GDK is my local branch. I treat myself to a GDK when there are offers on the OG Kebab. They always deliver consistently, the public area is always clean and well kept, the chefs always do a great job and make the order correct (if you ask for extra onioms for example or no tomatoes) and the front desk service is so friendly and organic, there is nomnally a male on the front desk (not sure of his name) and he is always friendly and helpful. In recent months there is a female named Tuba on the front desk who is as well always friendly and helpful. It makes a huge difference in the experience. Not that there has ever been an issue with an order, but if there was, the teams friendliness and eagerness to ensure you have had a good experience would make me feel super comfortable to address any concerns. In my experience this is so rare for a franchise. To Tuba and the rest if the team, thanks for your collective efforts to deliver a brilliant experience every time. You all work hard and I hope headoffice recognize what an incredible team they have.”

“Don Giovanni is the closest Italian food experience we’ve had since we’ve been to Italy. This little gem deserves so much hype and recognition. Their staff are also really lovely. Food were 10/10 with reasonable price and ambience is intimate and relax. Highly recommended and will definitely go back for more!”

“Some outstanding dishes here, all with a Lebanese/ Middle Eastern vibe. The beef ribs were succulent and tender and just gorgeous at a reasonable price. The chicken was superb, again very juicy and with a delightful sauce. The falafel bites were crunchy and yummy. I couldn't fault the quality of the food and the service was just right. Overall definitely with a visit and I'm pretty sure the one in Kings Cross is just as fine an establishment. all meat is Halal.”

“We went here for a meal before seeing Simply Red at Wembley Ovo Arena. Easy parking in pre booked areas, we were in the Red Block. We had also pre booked the restaurant section upstairs at the pub and I'm glad we did as it was very busy. You can also eat in the bar area downstairs though. A lovely old pub, well decorated and lots of space upstairs. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We ordered at the bar and the food came out fairly quickly and it was delicious. The pate starter was really delicious and I thought the food was well above the usual pub standard. The atmosphere was very relaxed and friendly. Some lovely ladies a few tables down, gave us their olives as they didn't like them and I liked the way Simply Reds music was played in the background, tying our meal to the Arena gig. I would definately eat there again if I was visiting the arena.”

“Hadn’t booked but they were able to easily accommodate. I at first thought they were closed but was just the first customer of the evening! (It was a Monday night). It could maybe have done with some music in the background. But the decor was wonderful & service good. The food came out super speedy. I had coconut rice & vegetarian Thai green curry w/ tofu. It was some of the best Thai food I have eaten - and that includes in Thailand. Very reasonably priced. Will most definitely be going back.”

But the highlight of my visit was the service. Chris was incredible — genuinely kind, attentive, and so easy to talk to. He made the whole evening feel special without trying too hard. “First time visit. Was really good. Food was delicious (especially the warm chocolate fondant), cocktails were very reasonably priced and tasted nice. Service was truly amazing, although I am not sure of our servers name, he looked like Adam Brody, so if you also get him, you’ll be looked after! I’m putting atmosphere at a 3, just because where I was sat was right under an ac vent and I was cold - given I’m not sure if it classes as atmosphere, I’m still putting it in. I would definitely recommend this restaurant. HOWEVER, if you’re allergic to garlic I would NOT bother - yet you can’t go wrong with steak and frites!!”

“Really nice food. We ordered for take away. The waiting time was not very long, for 3 dishes we've been waiting around 10-15 min. We had a picnic in the park, the trip took us 15-20 min, when we arrived the food was still very hot and delicious. Very nice serving and packing. Definitely we'll try again next time.”

“Brilliant pub. Inside space can be a bit of a squeeze at times but mostly very spacious and the beer garden is great and has a children’s play area. But above all are the staff - genuinely take an interest and are just fantastic. They always go above and beyond to make you experience the best it can be. Love going here!”

“Superlative Ambience atmosphere qnd Genuine Aromatic Thai Food. Everything is 100% tasty and Halal. Service is excellent and Noodles are just right. Prawn need careful cooking not to get chewy and chef was careful. And succulent beef was wow. Amazing. Full Marks.”
