“We went to the restaurant a couple of weeks ago as we wanted to try some authentic Italian food. The service is provided directly by the owner and it feels like you were in some place in Italy. Food was the best quality we have tried in the UK. Again, it makes you feel you are in Italy. The chef cuisine was fantastic and the even combined one of the pizzas with the famous “Porchetta”. Being Spanish, I felt the taste and warmth of the Mediterranean. Really pleased with the experience and 200% recommended”

“The Thai kitchen here is first class. The pub is also very nice for a drink or two. But the Thai food is legit, been several times and it's often full, and even more encouraging - a LOT of Thai people eat there. One of the best Thai restaurants in London at the moment.”

“What a pleasant experience. We were greeted at the door and seated by the friendly "Ben" who anticipated our needs throughout the evening. Ben brought us some complimentary warm focaccia and olives to nibble on while we made our menu choices. The menu has a good balance of dishes and I quickly decided on my choices along with a bottle of Ramaro for the table; I have a soft spot for Sicilian red wine. All dishes were well plated and tasted as good as they looked. The portions were also very generous, perhaps "Mama" was in the kitchen dishing the plates. After the meal, there was little room left for dessert, so I shared a panna cotta with my wife; I have to say that it was the best I've ever tasted. My only regret is that I didn't choose one of the seafood dishes, they looked realy appetizing. My relationship with crustacions has always been one where no matter what precautions I take while shelling them, a jet of oil always squirts out and slashes me on my shirt. Perhaps next visit I'll wear on old shirt or a bib; perhaps both.”

“I had the Linguine Granchio at Bella Vita last night and it was absolutely fantastic — perfectly cooked pasta with tender, flavorful crab in a light, aromatic sauce that tasted incredibly fresh. For dessert, the Tiramisu was heavenly — creamy, rich, and just the right balance of coffee and sweetness. Every bite was pure Italian delight! The service was friendly, and the cozy atmosphere made the meal even more enjoyable. Highly recommended!”

“Visited on a Thursday for Irish music night. The pub is lit with candles. It’s cosy and atmospheric. Music started around 9.30pm and it was traditional Irish music. Enjoyed the friendly atmosphere and the toilets were clean. Outside garden available if needed.”

“Really lovely pub where the Sunday lunch is epic! I didn’t even take a picture of my pie but it was incredible - completely homemade and will defo return! If you want a full Sunday Roast then you need to book - but we were lucky there were pies available for the walk-ins! Staff super friendly and attentive and food incredible! AJ’s Pies are perfect!”

“We had our Work Christmas Lunch on 18/12/2025, the Christmas menu was AMAZING! Plenty of food on the plate, we ordered some extra trimmings, which wasn't necessarily needed but definitely happy we had them as the food was sooo good we just could stop eating! Service was friendly and the whole lunch was a success. All my team commented afterwards how great the Christmas Lunch was this year. Thank you very much!”

“An excellent Sunday lunch at The White Swan. Not that many tables, so we'd reserved for 3x in advance, but just a few days before. The weekend before Christnas, so we were pleased to be fitted in. A lovely table right by the bar, immediately friendly service, a drink for me, whilst waiting for the rest of the party. The Sunday roasts were excellent, great pudding as well. Highly recommended ...”

“My recent dining at Brouge Gastropub was absolutely fantastic! From start to finish, it was a culinary delight. The food was delicious. I had a steak, and it was cooked to perfection - tender,juicy and bursting with flavour. The cocktails were also wonderful. The staff was helpful and attentive, making sure our dining experience was top-notch. The desserts were superb and nicely served. I highly recommend this restaurant.”

“This hotel/pub it was a nice random place that surprised us with a delicious burger and a nice kind of relaxing atmosphere. Kind of because it is by the main road, but relaxing because it was sunny, you can see Thames river over the road and enjoy a pint and some food. The staff was friendly, quite helpful, and polite even they were massively understaffed and they were running all over. The management should do their job better and not exploy their people, but ot might be the exception as it was a sunny day and lots of people joined us so this time I will not consider this in my review. We will update it if we return, and it will be a similar situation. Parking is available on the back of the hotel or on the side streets, but with limited access.”

“Went there with the family, I had the chicken pizza and the amazing volcano Pizza. Both were absolutely delicious. The complementary olives and the tasty small bread were as tasty as well. Cant recommend the place enough. The staff was friendly and experience. you should definitely try it soon.”

The place looks absolutely fantastic after the recent renovation — modern, cozy, and with a great atmosphere that makes you want to stay for hours. A special shout-out to Vitória, who provided outstanding service from start to finish. She was friendly, attentive, and made us feel truly welcome. Her positive energy added so much to our evening! And of course, the pizza… it was simply delicious! Perfectly baked, with fresh ingredients and rich flavors that really stood out. One of the best I’ve had in a long time. “Very nice. The coffee is a reasonable price, and very good quality - it doesn't taste like a dark roast so there is lots of room for the lighter flavours to come out. The staff are lovely. Unusual armchairs to sit in, or more traditional seating towards the back. Lots of accompanying food is offered, with gluten-free options available. It's so much better than a chain brand - and independent businesses are worth supporting. My cappuccino was £2.40. Loyalty cards are available. This could well be my favourite coffee in central Twickenham since The Coffee Lab closed down. Well worth a visit.”

“I have been a regular customer at the Harris + Hoole branch in St Margaret’s for almost two years now, and I can honestly say it is outstanding in every way. The place is always spotless and well-kept, which makes the environment really pleasant. The staff are incredibly polite, genuinely friendly, and noticeably professional in how they handle everything. “One of the best Italian restaurants I've ever been. We had mussels for starter to share which they brought in two separate plates and made it easy. The starter was massive and absolutely enough for two people. Then we had pepperoni calzone and salmon pasta bake which were amazing. The food is absolutely fresh and flavoured here. The calzone was delicious and stuffed which made it a big portion and the salmon pasta bake was perfectly cheesy and in a great creamy white sauce. We also had Tiramisu which was perfectly creamy. The staff were nice and friendly. Definitely recommend this place if you're looking for fresh and flavoured italian food served in a huge portions.”

“I am a local and go to this chip shop sometimes. The food is delicious and they have things that you normally wouldn’t find in a chip shop. And I hope soon that the kebab side off the shop will be open soon. They have been working on it for months and I am very excited. I am a drawer and one time I drew their logo(I’m not saying you should do this so plz don’t try it) but I got a small free chips which was really nice(it also helped that I am a local and the owner knows me quite well). I am very please. I forgot to take a photo but if you look at the other reviews you will see. Thanks”
