“Visited for the Japanese cheesecake initially and to introduce a friend to this place as they are more local than me. Loved the selection of hot/cold drinks. Sat in even shared a table with other visitors which I thought was so nice and brought back the good times where people actually converse! Carrot cake was divine it was moist and tasty. Was there so long sat to near closing time! The basement has a really nice ambience to it aswell I'd come back again.”

“lovely staff and good amount of seating area. i had the cinnamon roll more than once it was very nice! not everyone can perfect the roll but it suited my preference for it well. there’s an upstairs with a lighter environment great for doing work and a downstairs area which is a bit moodier but a nice place to read books just depending on your preference.”

“Great new place just opened. Italian bites & cocktails, cool decor. Pasta was home cooked & tasted great. Long Island ice tea was mixed the way it should be... About time we had a cocktail bar worth visiting.”

“Had superb vegetarian focaccia (mozzarella, sun-dried tomato, aubergine, olives). Cooked to perfection, crispy outside, melty inside. Generous portion and very reasonable prices. They also sell authentic Italian products - pasta, oils, pasta sauces. Also delicious looking cakes, which I didn't try, as focaccia was substantial! Friendly, helpful staff.”

“The atmosphere at FILTR was great, the coffee (my oat milk latte) was very smooth and tasty, it is great sustainably sourced coffee. I tried their coconut matcha latte on another occasion and I think they do coffee the best (I felt their was not enough matcha itself in the drink, but this may be personal preference). Seating available inside and outside, which is great to sip your coffee when the sun is out! Incredibly friendly and welcoming staff, great customer service!”

“Priscilla's Tea room team catered for our wedding on 2nd April and we couldn't recommend them more enthusiastically. All your questions are answered before you even ask them, everything is organised impeccably, so you don't have to stress. The staff, the food (!!!), the skills...everyone at Priscilla's is a gem! “We used Branching out for funeral flowers. The staff were so welcoming and helpful. We had some unusual ideas and they listened and gave advice and the drinks while we deliberated were very welcome! On they day of the funeral were were absolutely delighted with the flowers. They were beautifully arranged, vibrant and just what we imagined. They really brightened a very sad day for us. Thank you so much.”

“Great staffing, by being friendly to the community it genuinely does not feel like those generic shops where the staff have no connection with the customer. There’s always stock and if there isn’t the staff and the manager go above and beyond as they tell me which Tesco's nearby me would have that stock. Give them all a raise!”

“Cute place, I didn't try the hot menu but thoroughly enjoyed the Pistachio Cheesecake and Coco Loco smoothie, indoor and outdoor seating and toilets provided. I already love the gardens and the cafe is just the cherry on top.”

“Lovely play cafe.. there are 2 different soft play area for kids to play in… Have never seen my 13 month old enjoy his day this much. It wasn’t too busy too which I like because my child can easily get overstimulated sometimes. Very attentive staff too. I forgot to ask for her name but we will defo come back more often for sure x”

“I often grab a hot chocolate whenever I can either before or after work which is always top tier. The atmosphere is always good and the staff are extremely attentive to all customer needs. Highly recommend as the drinks are far better than those which neighbour them (mainly Starbucks). The facilities are also always clean and checked on a frequent basis. Shoutout to the ladies that were working this evening (after 6pm) they even grabbed me a croissant and cooked it downstairs for me. Exceptional service⭐️”

Bergamo sofas delivered today to DA11 and the customer service since day 1 has been nothing but amazing and the delivery guys were also extremely polite and pleasant (instead of the usual grumpy guys you would normally expect). “I bought some appliances through Euronics. And Mike delivered the items first thing in the morning slot though he had some staff challenges at his store. All my delivery arrived on time nicely packed and I was very pleased . He didn’t let me carry anything he did it all himself. Great service thank you !!!”

“I visit this Cafe Nero often and Alex in particular is always attentive and makes the best coffee he is always super focused when you walk in. Today, I walked in after a long day and got a coffee and a cornflake tart even though he wasn’t the one serving me he let me know that it had alcohol in and the other sweet treat didn’t. He is also very calm and patient when i am indecisive some days which he does not have to be! This level of attentiveness is very rare I really appreciate it. Thanks !”

“I’ve been to this branch of Starbucks a couple of times recently and it’s been great. My friend is disabled, so parking is very convenient as there are Blue Badge parking spaces directly outside. Access is easy too. The staff are all friendly and you don’t feel rushed, even when it’s near closing time. One outstanding member of staff we encountered was Elaine, the manager, who is incredibly friendly, warm and kind. She was extremely considerate and helpful towards my friend, who needed to access the toilet. Elaine made sure she could navigate her way to the toilet safely and that there were no obstructions in her way. On our way out, just as the shop was closing, Elaine cheerfully called out to say goodbye, which was a lovely touch. It’s warm, friendly and helpful staff members like Elaine who contribute to a positive experience when visiting a coffee shop. Thank you Elaine. You’re an asset to Starbucks. Update: When I first encountered Elaine, I mistakenly thought she was the cleaner as she was mopping the floor. On my next visit she told me that she was actually the manager and had found my post hugely amusing. This just shows what a wonderful sense of humour Elaine has! It also shows how the manager is prepared to do any task that is required.”
