“I was recently at Bobo and Wild Chigwell and grabbed a pistachio cinnamon bun for takeaway — and honestly, it was incredible ! The bun was super soft, perfectly sweet, and had a rich pistachio flavor that made it really unique. The balance between pistachio cream and bun was just unbelievable . Trust me it’s something special especially with their ginger tea on a freezing days.”

“Our lovely waitress Christina was very attentive, friendly and helpful. The food was delicious. Service was first class. The light breakfast was lovely. We were give a complimentary Turkish tea before we left. I would recommend Cup of Joy!!”

“Great spot for relaxing! I took my baby here and he loved the fish tank. I have tried a few things on the menu and all tasted great. Look forward to having the pancakes next time. Would highly recommend for breakfast or a nice lunch and quiet glass of wine if you are in the mood :)”

“Sensibly priced City breakfast and lunch hot/cold sandwich/panini/bap and hot food box takeaway joint. The chicken, bacon and spinach granary bap is my go-to combination . I also think I heard a lady getting a salad box, but I didn’t see it on the menu. Theres a limited amount of seating at lunch (3 smallish tables) - it’s mostly a takeaway place and the queue is a testament to that!”

“The place has a very large selection of breakfasts. We ordered an English breakfast and an Explosion Waffle, which were very tasty. The cappuccino was nice and very large. The atmosphere is a little intimidating because of the small space, which accommodates dozens of people. We were in a hurry to get up after breakfast, as it was not cozy. If that doesn't impress you, the place is definitely worth it.”

“Amazing gem, really can't find enough fantastic words to say about the place, the people and my experience! The entrance is actually next to the building and up some stairs, the grocery store under was very helpful in directing me. Super welcoming bar/restaurant atmosphere, with smiling, friendly staff to take care of you. Plenty of food and drink options, including half and half salty/sweet popcorn. The music while waiting was a fabulous selection as well. The theater itself is small and comfortable, great sound and picture quality. But even better than all that was their advertising of local businesses and the fact that they provide a day for people with dementia to enjoy as well. Truly touched my heart.”

“Formosa, what a shop: the beauty of the day! Just entering and seeing how clean and decorated everything was, it already indicated the exquisite level of the place and its products. Very good coffee, it's been a long time since I enjoyed it so much... The white chocolate makes my mouth water, I could easily eat twelve pieces in one go... The care of the staff couldn't be better, it's what I want, thank you for not finding yourself in one of those overcrowded stores... I will definitely return.”

“This place was a great find for two vegans and a vegetarians. We enjoyed quality coffee and sourdough avocado toast with pomegranate seeds. The olive oil used was exceptional. Adding another vegan option would ensure a return visit, but great staff made it the best option in that area for us”

“HIDDEN GEM HELLOOO?!? The photo truly speaks for itself. It was so delicious and really tasted like it was made out of love! We came here once before and were given some sweet goodies as a kind gesture, it really stuck with us so obviously we had to make sure to come back. This time we were treated with the same warm welcome and kindness. The man who works at the till is such a sweetheart, always so attentive to the customers and never fails to put a smile on our face before we leave, he really makes up for most of our experience. “Dropped by with my kids for lunch and it was a great experience. The service was brilliant and the owner is friendly and welcoming. The food was good. I had the lamb chops and got the chicken nuggets for the kids. Their prices are well suited and the atmosphere is relaxed. Will definitely be back.”

“I enjoyed a lovely lunch with a friend today at M Bar & Kitchen. I ordered the Club Sandwich (& chips!) and WOW! Highly recommend a visit if you are in the area. As it is located within a residential village, not many people realise it is actually open to the general public for brunch, lunch and dinner. (As someone who eats Gluten Free, my needs were catered for really well and I was reassured about the ingredients in the dish and the preparation process.)”

“The coffee and the texture of the oat milk in my flat white was flawless. I love the interior design and the beautiful cups, plus the staff are friendly and served the coffee with a smile! The location is ideal next to the river, and my dog was welcome too. The only downside is that the tables/ space are quite cramped. I wouldn't recommend sitting in - after all, less than 100m down the road are benches by the river.”

“Visited for the Japanese cheesecake initially and to introduce a friend to this place as they are more local than me. Loved the selection of hot/cold drinks. Sat in even shared a table with other visitors which I thought was so nice and brought back the good times where people actually converse! Carrot cake was divine it was moist and tasty. Was there so long sat to near closing time! The basement has a really nice ambience to it aswell I'd come back again.”

We’ve ordered the most beautiful celebratory cakes and the pastries at this lovely little patisserie are exquisite. The cafe has a lovely homely atmosphere and the owners are always welcoming. We have tried many other menu items and they are always well prepared. We love the charm of Le Moulin and always look forward to returning.”

“Love this cafe, it's one of my faves in the area. Lovely food and good coffee to match. I came with my one year old daughter and whilst the place is quite small, the staff were incredibly accommodating to set her up in a high chair and were engaging with her throughout our meal, bringing her colouring pads and childrens cutlery. They were also un-phased by all the food and pencils that ended up on the floor! Food was nice, came out hot and quickly. Defo recommend.”
