“I have recently started going to café chai and what a great new halal café in Thornton heath. Long overdue wait for a decent café in my local area. This is my new go to place for my breakfast! I ordered a full English with a hot chocolate! Tariq is very welcoming and can accommodate to what you want to eat for those fussy eaters! I definitely recommend going there and I will be bringing more customers to him! It’s a must try café. Service and food are really good. Here’s a insta worthy pic of my full English too!”
“Lovely staff, great atmosphere and community feel and pretty table decorations perfect for Winter! Had the Pumpkin spiced latte and Mexican corn fritters with a poached egg. All was lovely but the poached egg was a little cold. I fed this back to staff who were very kind and to make up for this, provided me with a free coffee on the house, so I tried the Gingerbread Latte. The cafe is in a good location next to the Rookery and at the top of Streatham Common. It’s perfect for a pre or post walk around the area. Recommend a visit.”
“Truly lovely little cafe in the middle of Wandsworth Common. Perfect if you just want a coffee to carry on your day, but if you're interested in food, though their offerings may look limited, they're all delicious! Having only tried a couple items, I can't say this with complete certainty, but will absolutely be coming back to put my money where my mouth is. Highly recommend stopping in if you're in the area, you won't regret it! Pictures posted are the Skylark breakfast and their current Pink Velvet Hot Chocolate, which my wife was very happy with.”
“A nice place... the owners a lovely man... Benfica siempre...”
“I was travelling alone and had a long early morning flight ahead so moved from another hotel in central London to Aerotel London at Heathrow Terminal 3, and I'm so glad I did! I had a single room with no window, and I had no plans other than to sleep, so, while it was small, it was convenient, clean and comfortable. I had three suitcases and they fit conveniently in front of the bed, and there is a small bench where you can rest an open case to go through it. There are three hangers on a stylish set of holders for your clothes/outer-wear. There is a kettle and complimentary tea and coffee, and there is a small restaurant on the 3rd floor called the Library. The lobby has some snacks and drinks for purchase also. Check-in and check-out were both easy, and the staff were friendly. Considering this is in the middle of an airport, it was so quiet! I will definitely stay here on my next transit through Terminal 3.”
“I called and the lady answered... I asked if the sausage was pork or beef. She said we have both then she asked is it because you don't eat pork i said yes she then said unfortunately it's cooked in the same oil. Real customer service Looking out for my belly! 5*s for her honesty thankyou so much.”
“Best coffee place in the area! Great barista too! Lovely.”
“Pretty much a near perfect stay at Manor House travelodge. Location perfect, right on top of Manor House Picadilly line tube. We'd booked a standard room as only there one night, but we were surprisingly updated to a superior room for free and no real reason. We didnt eat there but will when we return sometime. Also all staff we encountered were friendly and cheerful. Bed comfy as well which equals a good nights kip. All in all, recomended.”
“A wonderful place for coffee and cakes. An excellent selection, fresh and very flavourful. Prices are high, but that’s expected based on the location”
“They have a toddler group that starts at 10:30, with singing, stories and crafts. Brook cafe is a welcoming environment that my kids love to play in, there are toys for little ones to play with. The food tastes great and is reasonably priced. The cafe closes at 2 and is open on Thursdays.”
“Great food and friendly staff, lovely decor. This has become a new regular place to eat in Northwood. Really tasty and fresh brunch options and such an inviting place that you can often end up spending longer than you thought you might and sample the luxurious desserts on offer too! Personally my favourite of all the recent dessert lounges and cafes in our neighbourhood. Would highly recommend the scrambled eggs and the breakfast wrap, yummy!”
“Friendly energetic staff. Well designed cafe in the middle of Westfield mall. Sit and relax after long time shopping.”
“I absolutely love this place! Their Moroccan tea is so refreshing and full of flavour — it’s the perfect balance of mint and sweetness. The price is really reasonable too, especially for the quality. ☕️”
“The breakfast is fantastic. Hot, delicious, and all you can eat. Parking is expensive although typical for London. £16 per day when I visited. (Less if needing 10 hours or less.) Clean, in good repair. Secure, again, typical for London, but slightly annoying, in my opinion, e.g. you have to use your card for the lifts. I got a good price.”
“Staff are rare breed of genuinely kind hearted people... I Delivered a parcel here today and accidentally unloaded some big and heavy ones that were for a different address in the park. By the time I turned around two of the guys had the large, heavy parcels on their shoulders and were walking them up the hill to my van. They then gave me directions to the right place. Thank you!!!!!! I'm very much appreciative of your help! I cant comment on the coffee as I didn't have time to stop and get one but it smelled lovely in there! The decor was 10/10, as was the atmosphere!”
“Nice friendly staff, great coffie, nice pastys.”
“Very friendly, good coffee and supporting autism charity.”
“Burr & Co London was my first stop after landing in the city, and what a phenomenal choice it was! Nestled in the heart of Bloomsbury, this gem is more than just a coffeehouse; it’s a sanctuary. The atmosphere is perfect for settling down with your laptop, thanks to plenty of plug sockets and speedy Wi-Fi, making it an ideal spot for those important meetings or just catching up on work. The building itself, part of the Kimpton Fitzroy London, a Grade II listed Victorian marvel, adds to the charm of Burr & Co. Whether you’re craving a classic flat white, indulging in a full English breakfast, or in the mood for some delicious fries, the menu caters to every whim. And let’s not forget the cocktails – a must-try during their happy hour! The staff at Burr & Co are incredibly friendly, contributing to a relaxing and easy-going experience. The quality of food and beverages is top-notch, all available at a reasonable price point considering its prime location. It’s a place where music gently fills the background, creating a welcoming environment that’s hard to leave. In summary, Burr & Co is not just a hotel coffeehouse; it’s a delightful retreat in the bustling city of London. Whether you’re a local or just passing through, it’s a spot you won’t want to miss.”
“Really friendly staff on check in, and in the bar on 16th of November. Fast check in and all the information we needed. It’s a busy hotel but we slept perfectly. Comfy beds and nice room. They must have good quality sound proof as we never hear the busy road outside. Can’t go wrong from the price’s Travelodge are offering. Good location for the train station and Westfield.”
“Really good price of the family room, clean and spacious and location was great for access to amnesties and transport. Paid Parking available in the generic car pack which is right below the hotel. Staff were super friendly, especially at breakfast.”
“Great place to stop for a coffee. Coffee was top drawer and the cakes are lovely.”
“Here is the English translation: I came from Taiwan and stayed at a 2-person room on the 5th floor for 13 days at the end of November. At first, I saw many mixed reviews, but after staying here, I truly felt the staff were very friendly. The room was clean and tidy, and I had no bad experiences. There was no curtain beside the bed, but there were four outlets in the room, which was more than enough. The food sold on the first floor was affordable and tasty, and it’s also a good choice if you want to have a drink. If you need hot water, you can ask for it at the bar. The self-service breakfast costs £9.5 and is enough to make you full. The bathrooms and toilets were clean too, although some locks were broken, but it didn’t affect usage. The heating starts at 8 p.m. and lasts until the morning; sometimes it starts earlier or ends earlier. I am still staying here now, and I highly recommend this place to travelers who come to London and don’t have very high requirements for accommodation.”
“What a wee gem. Food was delicious. perfect poached eggs! staff were super friendly and helpful. Setting is gorgeous and right beside Esher woods so ideal for walk and brunch or lunch. deffo recommend”
“Really nice to have a decent place after a run in Richmond Park. As much as any building can, it blends nicely with the environment. Dining is available outside but as the weather was fresh, to say the least, it was handy to be able to sit inside. The staff were pleasant and conscientious. We were served very speedily. Finally, I spilled my coffee, my fault, and they unexpectedly replaced it free of charge. So, doubly happy.”
“Nice place in busy area. U can sit and enjoy day or pop in for quick bite. Lovely staff who will look after You. Thank You! Food is beautiful. Nice present and quality .. awsome! My meal was nice portion of cheese fallow by mussels and finish with dessert. All beautifly match with some wines...”
“Absolute gem of a cafe! Great food - great tea and coffee - and very fair, low prices. Couldn't recommend higher - love this place!”
“I visited Moka with my friends yesterday for brunch. The food was delicious and fulfilling, even the service was good and staff was friendly. It was a very nice experience.”
“The best Americano in London bar none. The cinnamon hot cross buns are a grown up treat. Alma is a smart and friendly barista. I wish we had this in Toronto.”
