“Amazing food. Ordered a takeaway and the food was fresh, tasty and arrived hot. There was a small mixup with our order, but the manager was exceptionally nice and helpful. They sorted it out straight away. resent the correct food and even included some complimentary extras. Really impressed with the service . we’ll definitely order again!”

“Absolutely loved our stay here. Every staff member could not have done more to make us feel welcome, from the reception staff to the restaurant, bar and spa staff. Room was lovely and we were allowed to change to a 4 person room (as opposed to 3) at no extra cost. We ate dinner here both nights and both times food was great and good value. Would thoroughly recommend - thank you”

“Stopped here on a Saturday lunchtime while in the area seeing friends. Even though we arrived about 30mins earlier than our booking they got us to our table fine. Team serving us were great, polite and friendly. We both really enjoyed the food. I had the fish and chips and my wife had the veg pie. Loads of parking around the back. Id advise to book in advance. Wouldn't hesitate to come again or recommend.”

“Great experience, the restaurant has a very classy feel and we were welcomed very warmly by staff. We opted for the surf and turf share platter which was out of this world, the meat was top quality and cooked to perfection, the platter also coming with a range of sides to completment the vast meat selection! Beer and wine was excellent and the atmosphere was good even though it was quite an early Wednesday dinner sitting. Highly recommend Turkish in Essex and I shall definitely be returning to the fat turk !”

“I have stayed in 9 Premier Inns in the last three months and 25 in the last two years. Brentwood is by far the best! Service was excellent and staff were by far the friendliest. Food was fine. The stand out hotel for me.”

“Really lovely pub. Good food. Great atmosphere. Large out door seating area. Children play area. Had a set menu due to family having a christening after party. I was informed this pub is going through a refurbishment as from 31st July 2023 So keep a eye out for the date of completed refurb. I'm sure I won't be disappointed on my next visit.”

The Chicken Tikka Biryani I ordered was a flavor explosion that left my taste buds dancing with joy. “This burgers in this place are Amazing. Meat stop classic + halloumi fries and chilli jam are one of the best combination ever. Burgers are juicy, buns are great and the owner, Ben is a great guy with a great energy and you can see that he puts all that into cooking.”

“We enjoyed a delicious afternoon tea. A delightful selection of sandwiches and cakes. Very generous helping of cream and strawberry jam accompanied warm scones both fruit and plain. We also enjoyed a delicious individual mini mousse made with chocolate and Baileys. An excellent large pot of tea, and we were offered more tea/ coffee if we wanted. We also enjoyed a very good glass of champagne which was an optional extra. Our waiter was friendly and welcoming, all served in a lovely setting.”

“This is, by far, the best Thai food served in the local area for authenticity. I had the pad grapao, which in restaurants in the UK is normally very different from Thai style. But this dish was 100% authentic and I could have very easily been in a restaurant in Chiang Rai. Very friendly staff with the permanent 'Thai smile' and good conversation. We will definitely be coming back.”

“Love this company, especially because of ‘Catherine’. 2 weeks ago, she helped me pick my dining set over the phone and got it delivered to me very quickly. Then today i decided to visit their shop to pick up some decor, she assisted me the whole way through and chose some lovely pieces for me that fit my home perfectly. Thanks Catherine, you’re a gem!”

“Robert and Sarah were very responsive, friendly and reliable. Delivery of a heavy good quality bbq / wood burner was made to a third floor flat involving 4 staircases without any issue. I understand Robert is focused more on garden design on a larger scale than the task he performed for me but he remained helpful throughout.”

“Took a chance which was well founded. Took a small single room for Saturday night. Had every thing you could want. 2 pillows, fan, bed, dressing table and wardrobe. Bathroom had bath and hand shower. Water hot and everything worked. All white decor, clean and tidy. Quiet room at the back of the hotel. Dinning room/bar is plain but breakfast good overlooking the street and service attentive. Loads of car parking. Very pleased.”

“Our amazing Tom Howley kitchen was completed today. From start to finish the whole experience has been fantastic. From the initial visit to the Brentwood showroom to the final hand painted finish. Jonathan did a superb job spending lots of time and meeting with my wife and I on several occasions to make sure we were completely happy with the design. Barry was our installer an exceptional joiner whose work is faultless. Such a skilful man who was a pleasure to have in our home. We then had Matt a really nice guy who came and helped with a few adjustments again a lovely guy. Then yesterday and today Alfie came and hand painted the kitchen to again an exceptional standard and once again a lovely guy who was a pleasure to have in our home. Finally Ian was our Ian West our Field Installation Manager and he also did his outmost to make sure we were happy communication with us throughout. I’m not sure where Tom Howley find their team of people but I can say you couldn’t ask for a nicer team of people and the finished kitchen is nothing but OUTSTANDING! Thank you Tom Howley for a truly wonderful experience. We would not hesitate in recommending Tom Howley Kitchens an easy 5 star review and a 10 out of 10. Simon & Natalie.”

They can be a little spicy depending on the dish you choose, so it would be good to give spice intensity options, like mild, medium and hot but otherwise the food is always piping hot and tasty! Full of flavour, CLEAN and great service!”

“Has been my favourite Chinese take-away since moving into the local area in 1997 despite a change of ownership a couple of times. Consistently good food, discount for collection or free local delivery, free prawn crackers if you spend £15. Since last change of ownership, some non Chinese staff on the telephones / front desk that don't seem to be quite as efficient as previous owners/ staff. Occasionally 20 or 30 minutes wait for order to be cooked on Saturday evenings. Generally no complaints and worth the wait.”
