“Furniture comforts did an amazing job, Dhiresh and his team were very easy to work with. We had cupboards and chest of drawers fitted in 2 of our bedrooms includijg a utility cupboard. The finish looks great and we are very happy with our end product. Dhiresh was very accommodating with dates, we got all the work finished in 2.5 days - highly recommend!”

“Very stylish hotel in central location with top transport links. Rooms are quiet and beds are great. Lots of Amenities , pool and spa are icing on the cake. Service is top. Only two small things to fault during our stay - the Aircon seems to reset when u leave the room and was always cold on return , had to turn temperature back up and we had a lovely view but very dirty widows. Go and find the hidden lovely hotel bar around a corner”

“Truly delicious and exciting food - highly recommend the pani puri and aloo firecracker. We went on a weekday so it was very quiet and a nice ambience. The manager was rude and abrasive to his staff in front of us which was disappointing, but hopefully a one-off.”

Cornerstone Community Coffee shop is a friendly space where people can just find someone to talk to and get excellent coffee and light meals at affordable prices, or free in some circumstances. It's run by volunteers from charity - East 13 Christian Trust.”

“Went in for breakfast, nice warm welcome from staff. Good choice of breakfast items and paninis. We ordered the nibbles and classic breakfasts and they didn't disappoint. Excellent quality and all cooked beautifully, really tasty. We loved the interior with the butchers counter and deli. Bought some items from the butcher who was so friendly and knowledgeable. Would definitely return if in the area and would recommend.”

The food was fresh and extremely tasty, the venue itself was beautiful so special and has perfect photo opportunities and the service was outstanding it felt very personal with lots of extra special touches. “We popped in to look at some soft furnishings after previously visiting and having a very happy experience about two years ago.. So thinking we’d have a look about which we did only for the staff to recognise us (from 2 years previously) and be aware of what we had purchased and where we were from.. absolutely outstanding service, the owner should be very very happy with his staff. The service we always receive is second to none. So to be recognised from a previous purchase is fantastic.. Btw the furniture we purchased is still as new… So no need to go to the big furniture companies and be a number, just visit The London Road Furniture Company and feel as an individual and very valued.. “A Charming Escape with Delicious Food and Friendly Service The food is simply outstanding—every dish we tried was bursting with flavor and beautifully presented. I particularly enjoyed the steak and guinness pie and fish and chips, which was cooked to perfection with generous portions. The staff here are incredibly friendly and attentive, always ensuring that you have everything you need and it shows in the quality of service. The pub itself is cosy and charming, with a lovely outdoor area that's perfect for enjoying a drink on a sunny day. It's also very family-friendly, making it a great spot for both casual dining and special occasions. Overall, The Horseshoes is a delightful place to unwind with great food, great company, and a great atmosphere. I definitely recommend it and we will come back soon.”

“Really, really lovely pizza in the evenings. Possibly the best in the Crystal Palace / Penge / Beckenham area? Don't let the front of the shop fool you, there is a lovely dining area in the back with a live grape vine covering the ceiling. With the peak summer evening heat and some Europop being played it was almost like being on the Mediterranean! Seems like they prefer people to book in advance, but they accepted our unannounced group of five, and we all seriously enjoyed our food. Definitely going back.”

Set in formal, tree-lined garden housing a naval burial site, playground and community centre, the cafe is ideallic for those who want a peaceful ambience. Make no mistake, due to its popularity, it can get very busy but you'll be spolied for choice with space as much as you will with what's on the menu. Ran by husband and wife team, Gary and Victoria and their wonderful team, you can rest assured you'll be met with a warm welcome, fun banter, and chit chat like youre one of the locals, (Even if you're not.) I personally come for the cooked full English breakfast but there is plenty of choice on offer! Everything from sweet pastries, more savoury snacks, all of which are homemade, delicious salads and variety of hot and cold beverages to wash it down with. All the staff are fantastic and nothing is too much trouble. If you fancy something that might not be obviously on the menu, the team will endeavour to make it for you (within fair reason, of course) If you've not yet visited Pistachios in the Park cafe, and you want someting a little away from the regular side of Greenwich, with exemplary quality, this is your spot. You wont regret it!”

“Came in with my boyfriend ordered 2 patties for a quick munch. I am usually intimidated by Caribbean restaurants as customer service isn’t always great. But the lady and the man in the shop running the place were so welcoming and polite and lovely and made us feel comfortable. The patties were gorgeous and hot and decently priced. “I have eaten a lot of pizza across the whole of London over the last 10 years and Sorrento In is genuinely the best I've had. This is judged on a margherita which in my opinion allows the most important ingredients shine through and Sorrento In's does exactly that. The tomato sauce is next level along with the taste of the dough. Closest I've had to traditional Italian pizza in London - simple as that. I'll be back, obviously!”

“3rd time here and was not disappointed. The king prawns were cleaned, cooked tastily and FRESH. We loved the lamb briyani, ample portions, even brought our friends here. Pappadam was amazing. Traditional bangla fish curry was great too. Would highly recommend and in my opinion presents better overall value than Dishoom.”
