“Had a spontaneous lunch at Gaucho today with a friend and our server, Mathew, was absolutely fantastic. He’s easily one of the best waiters I’ve ever had — warm, friendly, and genuinely attentive. He made sure we were comfortable and checked in throughout without ever being intrusive. His service really made our experience special, and I would highly recommend him to anyone dining here! “The Afternoon Tea was genuinely faultless from start to finish. It was one of the best dining experiences I've had in a long time. The vegetarian options were superb – particularly the wrap and the tomato/tofu cream. We'll be dreaming of the meringue, eclair and scones for weeks! The staff were so accommodating, attentive and helpful. I'm already looking for another excuse to visit again!”

“We had dinner here on a Sunday night so it was very quiet. Nevertheless we were greeted by Arvin who was a great host and explained that it was family run and that showed as the food here is very good and they obviously care about their product. Each dish has its own distinctive flavour and colour. We had the lamb rogan josh which was excellent. I also had their special chicken dish. The chicken was tender and succulent and I could not fault it. This is a great restaurant and we will return. I just wish we had gone to it before!”

“Ordered the Thai Salmon Curry, it was good. Before, I ordered several times the noodle, it wasn't as I expected. The staff was nice, and attentive. The ambiance was cozy with really good interior design, comfortable, and not too noisy. Toilets for customers are available (downstairs, and on the first floor, need to use the door code from the receipt).”

“I popped in for a quick lunch before a meeting and I'm so glad I did. I was hoping it would be the same great quality food as it always was at Carluccio's and it exceeded my expectations. The service was attentive and efficient and the food did not disappoint. I opted for a salad but absolutely love the spinach balls that are in the gardiena dish and the waiter was happy to oblige. The spinach balls were lovely and the salad perfectly balanced, the avocado was perfectly ripe and as you can see, it wasn't simply a pile of leaves! The photo doesn't do it justice because I'd already started to demolish it! No wonder this place is buzzing, I will certainly be back!”

“A hidden gem in a great location. I couldn’t have asked for more while up in London working. The accommodation was incredibly comfortable and peaceful and the owners were on hand if needed but otherwise left you to it. They were very helpful when the internet went down (not their fault! There were works being done in the area) and even removed a rather large spider! Fresh pain au chocolat every day and Nespress coffee machine too. A really brilliant find and I’ll come again as well as recommend to my friends.”

“We had a fabulous prosecco afternoon tea at the Botanical Brasserie. We used a voucher through virgin experiences for Kew gardens+afternoon tea. You need to pre-book your table for afternoon tea, which we did 3 weeks before and had a lot of selection of times etc. We sat outside with views overlooking the lake and palm house; umbrellas provided welcomed shade. Staff were happy to seat us 45 mins before our booked slot (2.30pm), which was really helpful. The staff were attentive, checking on us regularly and our afternoon tea came out very quickly. The selection of cakes and scones were delicious. The sandwiches were lovely, nothing overly special, but nice all the same. A lovely atmosphere and beautiful afternoon. I'd recommend it.”
