βWhat a lovely dance school! The teachers are really lovely and my son found it incredibly welcoming and enjoyable. Thank you.β
βI've been going to this place for aerial hoop and I had a great and fun experience in there! The Spanish teacher (Irene) has a great technical skills to teach all the tricks and transitions while making sure you are safe!. If you are thinking of starting aerial hoop I strongly recommend this place!β
βMy daughter has been attending the holiday camps at the Rosy Thompson Academy of Dance for a few years now. The camps are energetic, engaging and offer a great balance between having fun, confidence building and the opportunity to make new friends of a similar age. My daughter certainly enjoys the camps! Watching her perform in the end of week mini show is a great opportunity to witness first hand the progress she has made..... and the smile on her face!β

βBollywood Dance School is a place that inspires and motivates individuals from all walks of life. Having been a student of Shruti and Rohan for the past 12 years, I can confidently say that the learning never stops, every class brings something new and exciting! Their vision for dance is extraordinary. Alongside creative instructor Diya, they bring fresh, innovative ideas to every performance. This isnβt just another pop-up dance class. The instructors here are deeply dedicated, training each student to reach their full potential across a range of styles β from contemporary to hip-hop β all culminating in a spectacular showcase. I highly recommend Bollywood Dance School to anyone aged 4 and up. Itβs never too early or too late to start your dance journey here!β
βWhen I first joined Give Into Dance I was immediately blown away by the friendly atmosphere and the fun classes. I made friends almost instantly and to this day, over ten years later, the people I met at GID are still some of my closest friends. Briony is an incredible teacher, she makes everyone feel welcome, and no matter what level you are at, Briony, along with everyone in the class makes you feel completely at ease. The amazing variety of dance styles, choreography and routines keep you on your toes whilst giving you an amazing workout. Performing in the annual shows gives you something to work towards, and a huge sense of achievement afterwards, all whilst making amazing memories with a wonderful group of people. Unlike many other dance classes out there, GID doesn't have an elitist vibe or make you feel like an outsider if you're new or a beginner, you instantly feel welcomed and relaxed and the classes are a fun and happy place, the perfect escape from the stresses of everyday life!β

βWe had a two hour dance lesson in advance of our first dance at our wedding. We learnt a one minute routine in the 2 hour session. The teaching was superb. Exactly what we were after! Having booked only the night before and a week out from the wedding we were so grateful they could fit us in. The dance went excellently on the night and we couldnβt have done it without our teaching at grafting. We would highly recommend!β
βJust attended their 6 day summer intensive 2023. It was amazing. Brilliant really! They had a good long day, with a combination of ballet, contemporary and creative dance every day. I enjoyed the end of week show. I made one or 2 friends, teachers were awesome too. The studios are well presented with good flooring. The changing rooms and toilets are unisex but you could enquire ahead like me to have access to a staff toilet or singular disabled toilet if that is more comfortable or needed. At the end I was given a Rambert t-shirt and bag merchandise for attending the intensive. I think I will come back next summer. The area is just lovely too because Rambert Ballet School is just 3 minutes walk to the Richmond Lock over Thames River.β
βI simply LOVE this school! I have been here for 5 years and we are all becoming together not just better dancers loving our bodies but most of all we are a FAMILY! Thanks to Claudia the founder who made all of this possibleβ
βExcellent teaching and range of classesβ
βA vibrant new dance school with lots to offer! My girls have loved attending DES since it opened last year. They ask everyday if it's time for ballet/tap/modern or acro. Courtenay is amazing with them, not only a dance teacher but a good role model, someone they look up to and look forward to seeing each week!β
βI did not actually go into the premises. I was just parking up to carry out a Landlord Gas Safety check on a property a few doors down but when I heard the singing radiating and filling the air around me so I stop and listened for a few minutes. It puts a smile on my face when you hear that kind of talent.β
βThis is an excellent nursery. The environment for children at Comet is first class, lots of space, greenery and interesting apparatus for the children to play on. What really stands Comet apart however is the quality of it's staff. They always have the interests of the children at the top of their agenda and my son blossomed after joining there from another private nursery. I felt happy every day dropping my son at Comet.β
βWhat an impressive building in the middle of the Richmond park. Commissioned in 1725 as a hunting lodge for George I, White Lodge remains part of the Crown Estate to this day and partly housing the well known The Royal Ballet School. Here a little bit of a history: A misunderstood politician John Stuart, 3rd Earl of Bute (1713β1792) was appointed Ranger of the Park by George III in 1761 and took up residence at White Lodge. In 1801, George III assigned White Lodge to Henry Addington (a middle-class Prime Minister), later Viscount Sidmouth, as a βgrace and favourβ residence. Addington, who served as Prime Minister from 1801 to 1804, remained at the Lodge until his death in 1844. The Empress Elizabeth of Austria-Hungary (Sissi) (1837β1898) stayed at White Lodge for the hunting season in the summer of 1874. In 1881 Sir Henry Irving and Ellen Terry were guests, the famous Victorian actors, who had recently starred at the Lyceum Theatre as Hamlet and Ophelia in Shakespeareβs tragic play of Hamlet. In January 1912, the famous ballerina, Anna Pavlova, and her partner, Laurent Novikoff, performed at Richmond Theatre with the members of the Company of the Imperial Ballet, St Petersburg. Many decades later, students of The Royal Ballet School would follow in Pavlovaβs footsteps, dancing each summer at Richmond Theatre during the 1970s and 1980s. On 13 August 1924, there was another royal birth at White Lodge. Prince Aleksander Pavlov Karadorevic was born to Princess Olga of Greece and Denmark and Prince Paul of Yugoslavia, in the same room as that in which Prince Edward of Wales had been born, 30 years earlier. The marriage of Mrs Reynolds Albertini and Colonel James Veitch of the Coldstream Guards was reported in the Evening News on 12 April 1950. They continued to occupy White Lodge after the war, and hosted Marshal Tito there when he came to England on a state visit, March 1953. The Foreign Office agreed to Titoβs entourage being 29 strong, but let only 12 reside with him at White Lodge. For security reasons, Tito was not accommodated in a London. During the Autumn Term of the new academic year 1955/6, the first cohort of students boarding at White Lodge had to travel to their daily lessons at the School's Colet Gardens site in Barons Court, as the Stable Block classrooms were not yet ready.β
βSt James is a school that fosters children's confidence, communication skills, and a love of learning. They do this through lot of drama, speech competitions, beautiful literature, philosophy classes, singing, and the school equivalent of positive parenting. A wonderful school that educates the whole child.β
βGreat school! Highly recommended!β
βWe have been coming to Rona Hart School of Dance since seven years. The ballet classes are very loved by my daughters. The teachers are very kind and professional and having a pianist makes the whole experience exquisite. Every two years Miss Linzi Else and her dedicated team put on an amazing dance production where all students can perform. It's also possible to take exams. The dance studio is hidden in a lovely building behind the church yard. We also appreciate the wooden dance floor.β
βfantastic classes and teachers- my daughter absolutely loves it here. Super nurturing and great for building their confidence.β
βI am Claudia i love diversity and i met diversity the last yearβ
βI love the school and my children as well. When my daughter started nursery she didn't know a single word in English, but the whole school, from the children to the teachers to the management, supported her so well she never felt like she was left behind and she improved quickly. Being she a Summer baby, learning could have been hard for her, but she's doing so well and the teachers are supporting and encouraging her so much, I couldn't be happier. My son is in nursery now and he literally loves to go, he's also improving so quickly. The whole school is caring and very careful about the children's behaviour and their safety. I love the fact it's like a big family, with all the grown ups, from the lunch helpers to the head teacher, knowing every single child by name. I wouldn't change the school for any reason and I highly recommend it.β
βBoth my two daughters attended this school It is an amazing school with amazing staff And I will be sending my third daughter here also.β
βI was invited to College Green Nursery last Thursday as a visiting author/illustrator to share my children's books and storytelling with the children and was very impressed by the warm reception of very friendly staff led by the Headteacher and particularly by Nawal Filali Naji the facilitator of my visit. I was most impressed by just how settled and happy the new intake of 4 year olds were, and their enthusiasm for participation and learning. It is likely down to what I think I detect as the Nursery's environment of structured pastoral care and love.β
βMy three daughters all attend various classes here and love it. They have fun but are worked hard by the teachers who also nurture and motivate them. We all feel part of the Robyn Academy dance family.β
βIβve been a part of this incredible dance academy for three years quite some time ago, and I can wholeheartedly vouch for their trainers. They are not only highly professional but also deeply passionate about both dance and teaching classes. Special thanks to Olga & Nick for their support. Their dedication and enthusiasm create an inspiring atmosphere that makes every class a joy (well, sometimes a physical struggle, obviously, but such is life). These have been three truly unforgettable years of my life, filled with really cool moments and amazing experiences. I am truly grateful for everything this academy has given me. I had to leave eventually due to personal circumstances, but I would like to thank you for making this journey so special!β
βMy daughter has been with BDS for 6 years now. Miss Judy is a great ballet teacher and her hard work and dedication shows in how far the children have come with their dancing. Highly recommended ballet teacherβ
βMy 4-year-old has been going to BDS for about 9 months in the Toddler class... initially I was nervous as I thought sheβd enjoy it but sheβd had a rocky start to Nursery with not wanting to leave me etcetc. But Judy has a way of relaxing the kids whilst keeping them focused and progressing in their dancing. R. loves her classes and friends there. My daughter did her first exam in July and took part in a show - throughout, Judy kept the children relaxed and happy about both. I was amazed that my sometimes shy child was able to perform happily and the show as a whole was fantastic.β
