Delicious in Hayes

“This review is long, long overdue. I first visited the UK back in 2012. I was sightseeing when I came across this cafe. This was my first full day in London, and my first meal in the city, and it was very good. Seriously, it was exactly what I needed. The young woman who served me was very nice and she could tell by my Canadian accent that I was visiting. Fast-forward to 2018. This was my third time in London, but my second time eating here, and it looked better than before, and the food was even better, too. And to top it off, the same young woman was still working there, and she remembered me. I'll be returning to London next month, and I'll definitely be having breakfast here again!”

“You can get all your essentials here, but at a price! I sometimes weigh up using a few local, cheaper shops to save. Otherwise, it's a trip to town! Theres also a car wash here”

“The service at this place was exceptional. Surprisingly a great hotel with decent parking and very close to the airport as well. A special shoutout to Asher, the bartender, whose performance at the bar was brilliant. His upselling techniques were impressive, and his recommendations for food were perfect.”

“We were arranged by the British Airways as our flight was delayed. We arrived at check in counter at about 6:00 pm, all the check in process is smooth and efficient, the staff is nice to gave us the meals coupons and recommended us to take the right time shuttle bus to airport in order to catch the flight tomorrow morning. The hotel renovation is fair, the decoration hanging on the wall of the corridor is unique. The room is clean and spacious, bed & the quilting is comfy, environment is quiet. There have fridge, kettle & the shower have great water pressure, the only thing I concern is the hair dryer is so poor. The experience over all for us is very good and we will recommend this hotel to my friends.”

“We have stayed here a few times and found the staff and service to be exceptional. Checked in by the lovely Anna on this occasion. We were a little bit early but she greeted us with a huge smile and swiftly went through the checking in process. We had a quick pint before going to the room. Sanjeev served us our drinks. He was a real highlight too.”

“A lovely cafe right by the river and London Bridge station. You can sit outside under cover in the archways at Hays Galleria which is lovely. We had the burrata and pulled lamb wedges to start - and the lamb was incredible! We then had the seafood pasta and bacon, pistachio and onion linguine and loved the combo of flavours. The red velvet cheesecake is also a must order - it was so delicious! We really enjoyed all the food, the great service and the atmosphere.”

“Thank you Costa coffee for hiring such good staff. I visit the stockly park Costa coffee everyday with My wife as she works close by. After my wife finishes her duty at 4 pm I drive to Costa coffee and parking is free for 3 hours. I had a heart patient few months back so doctors told me to walk so I prefer to walk at stockly park. I visit the store and always see the staff smiling and warmly greeting everyone. I have met the Manager Jimmy who is very kind and nice, met Ritik who is also very nice and good and yesterday evening I met this Girl Lucky who is also vey good and kind. My daily visit I always meet this staff who are very friendly. One good thing is during the closing time at 4.30 pm they give 50% discount on the muffins, pastries and cakes and even drinks. I love visiting this stockly park Costa coffee. Never seen this much friendly staff any other stores in london.”

“Couldn't fault the rooms. Rooms are massive especially the disabled ones... with mum having MS. Staff friendly service and brought mum extra blanket... The one downside the duvets could be alittle more warmer.... Reason for the 2 stars the location. If staying in london for more than a week and no transport its a problem as its right near healthrow airport. But thankfully the coach is within the bungle to london on the hols!”

“Not only was the check-in process speedy and helpful (because the hotel employee made some specific accommodations for our stay), but the room exceeded expectations on all accounts. The room was comfortable, clean, and spacious. We would definitely stay here again and we appreciated all courtesies that were shown to us by the hotel staff.”

“Doesn’t look like much but best curry I’ve had. They are also super friendly in here. People just chat to you it’s really nice and such a change from the norm for me coming from central. Cheap as chips here for drinks too you get change from a tenner for two pints!”

“Good pizza, tasty and isn’t too thick on the base. The sauce is applied evenly covering the whole pizza with a decent amount of toppings and available in various sizes. We ordered the 17” large chicken pizza and wasn’t left disappointed and also a smaller pepperoni which was 5*. The food is Halal certified and conveniently located at this petrol station with ease of parking, only downfall is you have to wait approx 30 mins but I guess it’s guaranteed to be fresh.”

“Great crispy pork (the best in the area) I don’t see what all the fuss is all about with the owner uncle. Yes he’s your typical asian parenting, but when I actually get to properly talk to him he’s very nice and down to earth person. Don’t judge other people on what your culture normalise as “normal”. Also, its a takeaway place not a dine-in place just order and go eat it at home, what do you want him to do? serve you with a grand gesture for your £10 order? Overall, best takeaway place in the area would recommend to anyone who love Chinese food and who are not soft and sensitive like these 1 star reviews.”
