“A great hotel in a great location. Literally steps to Trafalgar Square and Charing cross tube station. Plenty of pubs nearby for classic pub food and a beer. The hotel itself is totally original- Scotland Yard Police station converted to a hotel, complete with memorabilia on the walls . Good size rooms which was very comfy. Great staff, very friendly. Cocktail lounge was classy - good cocktails and live music on Friday/ Saturday. There are cookie cutter hotels which are all pretty average- then there is this amazing boutique hotel in a historic building . No contest. I know where I am staying when I am next in London.”

“My first experience at an ask italian was wonderful! Although it is slightly on the pricier side, all of their food is absolutely delicious and the staff were all really nice… went here to celebrate gcse results and i’m very glad i did”

“salmon sashimi has a good texture. The chicken katsu don is very good. Was expecting the egg to be more watery, but it turned out to be over hard which makes the don too dry. The eel don is nice too, however the sauce can be a bit too sweet.”

“Been meaning to leave a review for a very long time, however managed to forget..probably due to the fantastic friendly service we always receive from the team. We are always welcomed with open arms and the team bend over backwards to accommodate us. I must shout out the whole team… they’re all amazing… however, Becks has served us since we first started coming here, since moving in locally, before Jason the Head Chef joined, she was the main reason for our return. Jason joined, the food has been out of this world… I would recommend the roasts - they’re delicious! The beef is served pink and the vegetables are cooked perfectly and well seasoned. It’s always a pleasure coming to visit The Black Horse and we cannot recommend it enough. Final shout out to Becks, Jason… our favourites… and of course Harry, Layla, Ben, Jess, Jack and Ollie. ❤️❤️❤️”

“We absolutely love Sir & Madam! We order takeaways from them regularly and the food is always outstanding – fresh, full of flavour, and beautifully prepared. Delivery is consistently on time. One of the nicest touches is that every so often, they’ll include a complimentary dish from the chef. It’s such a thoughtful gesture and has introduced us to new favourites we might not have tried otherwise. Everything we’ve tasted so far has been divine! Can’t recommend them highly enough – if you’re looking for authentic, delicious Thai food, this is the place to go!!”

“A restaurant with delicious and authentic Thai fare. The two of us were stuffed with one appetizer, a meat dish and a bowl if rice. Didn't check the wine list but soft drinks are pretty affordable. Dishes were served hot and freshly prepared. The server kindly offered chopsticks yet it was a little inconvenient to use with plates not bowls. One thing worth noting was that the heater wasn't strong enough to warm us up - girls sitting next table needed to cover their knees with coats.”

“Great first time experience. A family of 5 including a year old toddler. Everyone had something to relish. I saw it online after a quick search and I am not disappointed at all. Conscious, friendly and attentive staffs, neat environment and well cooked meals. Spent a little over £100 but we were full to the brim and had to ask for takeaway packs...lol. “We visited on a Saturday and took advantage of their excellent 2 courses lunch set menu which is priced at under £20. The restaurant is on Dean Street and well situated in the heart of busy Soho. They offer both indoor and outdoor seating. The cuisine is French and offers a flavour of the French Bistro and Brasserie. The menu is quite extensive and offers traditional French dishes. We really enjoyed both the starters and the mains that we ordered especially the Sauteed Lamb Kidneys, the Grilled Mussels, the Beetroot Gratin. For the mains we can recommend Spinach and Mushroom Gruyere cheese open Pie, the Beef Bourguignon as well as the Pan Fried sesame crusted Tuna Steak as well as the Chargrilled Entrecote Steak. All the food was very good, being tasty, seasoned and well presented. The staff were also very friendly, efficient and helpful with the menu. The ambiance was great too not being too loud. We had a great time and will certainly revisit.”

“An Italian style coffee shop. Excellent coffee which is smooth and strong. The cakes are really great and home made. Very reasonable price as well. The lunch options are paninis, sandwiches and salad bowls, plus baked potatoes and priced between £3.50 and £8.50. Cakes £2.90 Coffees around £2-3 with Americano £2.40 and cappuccino £2.70. This is a friendly cafe with outdoor seating and ideal for coffee and cake whilst out shopping or light lunches with friends. A really lovely addition to this fast improving High Street.”
