“Had a really good time here. Spent about 5 nights here and my family and I enjoyed it. We used a family room with 1 double bed and 2 single beds for a family of 5 with 2 small children. The staff were amazingly helpful and went above and beyond to help us. The location is excellent....right on a few major bus routes making it ridiculously easy to get into the centre of London or Legoland. While they don't serve food themselves, there is an amazing restaurant next door that does breakfast, brunch or lunch, and the hotel is walking distance to a small service tesco.”

“We had the octopus to start. Tender and tasty - well prepared and presented. Very nice and at a very reasonable price. I had the deluxe burger. A very juicy, tasty burger topped with steak, with the chip shop chips. Really enjoyed it. My wife had the mixed seafood. Large juicy prawns, mussels, sea bass and salmon in a very nice sauce. All in all we thought the food was great and service was very good although they were quiet and don’t have their alcohol licence as yet - but should have it soon. Mus was our waiter - an asset to the restaurant. Made sure we had everything we needed. We’re really looking forward to returning to Barbarossa and sampling more of the menu.”

“Ordered twice now, both times have been extremely delicious. The chicken strips and wings are amazing, you can taste that they are grilled and have a tasty piri piri sauce. The pizza, wow, I couldn't stop eating it. I prefer this pizza over some of the large brand companies! I also like how the toppings don't dictate how much the pizza costs. All in all, I am very pleased and satisfied and hope to be ordering for many more times to come.”

“Most previous Chinese take aways I’ve had have been hit and miss. We’ve been using them for a while now and not had a bad experience to date. Good size portions and they usually throw in a few things unexpected which are always appreciated.”

“What a nice and comfortable place this is ! When my kids were almost grown-up, I slightly broken my neck and felt like visiting the UK . I knew this hotel occasionally and stayed with much satisfaction. Since the visit , I have been to the UK four times. But I always book a room of this hotel before buying a ticket to Heathrow. The staffs are very very warm.”

“Delicious wholesome food, clean nice packaging and generous portions. Bit pricey but worth it. We ordered Japanese stir fried udon noodles pork (L), Japanese crispy dumpling (Gyoza) standard chicken & vegetable (7), Crispy Szechuan Aromatic Duck with Extra Pancakes (6) and extra spring onions & cucumbers. Food was perfect the noodles were not swimming in grease nice and dry. Dumplings were very crispy but soft at the same time. Crispy duck was also very delicious. The service was really quick and efficient. Will order again !!!”

“I only go here to drop and collect parcels. The people are very nice. If u try to drop parcels after 4pm they normally refuse as they are a little shop and they don't have a lot of space”

“As a life long foody I have tried many many burgers over the years. Hand on heart Munchalato's are up there with the best. You may have to wait a while for an order on weekends etc but honestly it's worth it. Absolutely everything we have tried has been amazing so far. “Honestly not sure what the other reviews here were on about, ordered through Deliveroo so didn't see the negative Google reviews but the ones on Deliveroo seemed good enough that we gave it a shot. Ordered the meal for 3 people which is listed as 39.50, but the app discounts brought it down to 30. The food portions were large and delicious. Individual reviews for each dish that came with the meal - Chow Mein - Hearty and flavorful with plenty of meat mixed in unlike a lot of other takeouts that have mostly veggies with the noodles Sweet and sour chicken - Not sickeningly sweet like some places but a well made sauce with batter fried coated chicken Beef in black sauce - was listed as spicy but was pleasantly savory with just a small kick, the beef itself was tender King prawn with mushrooms - Pretty good, nothing unique but nothing shabby, quite a few prawn pieces too Mixed Vegetables - Again, as good as you can get from a takeout Egg fried rice - Solid with a good amount of egg, not overly dry but not sloppy or greasy Crispy duck - tender but crispy not dry, the hoisin sauce was incredible and the pancakes and spring vegetables were a welcome addition Prawn crackers - can never have too many of these and they delivered, a massive bag full! All of this, and for 30 quid (obviously with the app discounts but 40 is still a solid deal for three people, this could feed four and still have leftovers) Can't vouch for other dishes on the menu obviously but this is what I had and my stomach was perfectly fine in the days after lmao, would order again for sure”

“I ordered food here from Deliveroo and I just had to give a good review. I got the dimsum platter mixed for one which had a great variety. I got a spicy beef ramen which was flavourful and actually spicy! Also the portion size for that was really good too, enough for two. I also had some sesame balls which was a nice sweet treat in the end that wasn’t too sickly sweet. Really good quality food and will definitely buy from here again !!”
