Stepping into this beautifully restored venue felt like stepping back in time, with its vintage décor and cosy atmosphere adding to the magic of the experience. “A very reliable source to go to for screening amazing and entertaining docs. There's always something refreshing and interesting screening. Above all, it feels good knowing my money is supporting a heavily underfunded industry, unlike massive budget mainstream movies. Just go to Peckham Plex for those ;) I hope more of these pop up around the country/world, documentaries have a great potential for delivering repetitively amazing stories to your comfy seat.”

    Barbican Cinemas

    ★★★★☆ 4.6
    Open

“Classic, intimate cinema screens at the Barbican which create a cosy viewing experience. Came here to see The Bikeriders and enjoyed the screening very much. Also, the first time I’ve been to the cinema in years without the inconsiderate distractions of constant chatter and glaring device screens, which was very welcome. There is a bar and a restaurant on-site too for food and beverage before or after your film. Good stuff!”

    David Lean Cinema

    ★★★★☆ 4.6
    Open

“It's nice that Croydon has this cinema. It's a real asset for a town centre that is being decimated at every turn. It's unique in that it's tucked away, even though it's in the very centre, just by the Town Hall. With just 65 seats, it's very independent-minded, with a screening more or less daily. The staff really want to assist. I shall definitely return.”

“We attended a private commercial/hip-hop dance class for a hen do and everything was excellent! The Events Team were very responsive and reliable throughout the booking process. Our dance class was with Wallis who was fabulous! She had an amazing energy which put us all at ease and got us in the mood! She choreographed a fab routine that perfectly suited our mixed-ability/experience group and we all had so much fun. It’s definitely made us want to come back for some of her regular classes in the future! Would highly recommend!”

“I absolutely love the Everyman in Kings Cross! The bar area is lovely and cosy — the perfect spot to enjoy some food and drinks the film. The staff are always warm and welcoming. On my most recent visit, I came with a large group, and Lauren, Zion, Eva, and Jess looked after us brilliantly. They were super accommodating, and our food and drinks arrived quickly despite the big order. I’d highly recommend this Everyman to anyone looking for a fun date night or a relaxed evening out with friends!”
