The food, though, is the real star of the show. Everything is incredibly fresh, beautifully prepared, and full of flavour. Today, I treated myself to the spicy salmon sushi roll and salmon sashimi, and they absolutely exceeded my expectations. The sushi roll had just the right amount of spice, perfectly complemented by the freshness of the salmon. The sashimi was silky, tender, and practically melted in my mouth. Every bite was an explosion of flavour that left me wanting more, even though I left feeling so full and satisfied. If you’re a fan of fresh, high quality sushi served by people who care, Sushi Point is a must visit. I’ll definitely be returning to try more of their menu!”

“From a subjective standpoint, I have discerning tastes when it comes to food, however, this establishment has significantly impressed me with the exceptional taste and freshness of its offerings. The staff members are exceedingly courteous and provide excellent service. Although my original intent did not involve dining here, I was in the vicinity picking up parts from Mazda and Dealer. “Visited on a Thursday for Irish music night. The pub is lit with candles. It’s cosy and atmospheric. Music started around 9.30pm and it was traditional Irish music. Enjoyed the friendly atmosphere and the toilets were clean. Outside garden available if needed.”

“Went there for lunch. Aged ribeye steak and chargeilled chicken breast are delicious. Lunch menu has a lot of choices. Good food and atmosphere with nice music. Gelato is yummy.”

“Really lovely pub where the Sunday lunch is epic! I didn’t even take a picture of my pie but it was incredible - completely homemade and will defo return! If you want a full Sunday Roast then you need to book - but we were lucky there were pies available for the walk-ins! Staff super friendly and attentive and food incredible! AJ’s Pies are perfect!”

Plenty of food on the plate, we ordered some extra trimmings, which wasn't necessarily needed but definitely happy we had them as the food was sooo good we just could stop eating! “An excellent Sunday lunch at The White Swan. Not that many tables, so we'd reserved for 3x in advance, but just a few days before. The weekend before Christnas, so we were pleased to be fitted in. A lovely table right by the bar, immediately friendly service, a drink for me, whilst waiting for the rest of the party. The Sunday roasts were excellent, great pudding as well. After receiving only generic confirmation emails and no further communication, we visited the pub a week prior to our booking, only to discover it was still under construction. Dec, the Area Manager, was present and clarified that a mix-up had occurred, and our reservation should have been canceled. Following some concern, Dec successfully rebooked our lunch arrangements at the Barney Arns in Twickenham. Our visit to the Barney Arms was met with exceptional service from Chloe, who demonstrated remarkable helpfulness and understanding, effectively alleviating any concerns we had. Our Christmas luncheon was exceptional, characterized by outstanding cuisine and a superb ambiance. The staff provided exemplary service. Dec, Chloe, and the team provided exceptional assistance. We will certainly be rebooking for next year. Thank you for making our Christmas Day truly special.”

“This is the eat-in to have. Food is always nice. Fresh and a lot of flavour. Always arrives hot and fast. You can call up and ask any questions about new dishes that you would like to try. They will always do there best to explain what it is and what it has in it. The people who work there are super friendly very polite nothing to much for them.”

“I’m a big fan of this local pub. I used to live just around the corner, and it truly felt like a second home — or even a cosy grandparents’ house. It’s surprisingly spacious, with chic dried flower arrangements on every table (even the cutlery boxes are lovely). The atmosphere is always warm and welcoming, and the staff are friendly, smiling, and attentive — not overbearing, just genuinely kind and efficient. They regularly rotate seasonal beers, so there’s always something new to try, and the food is consistently good. You can watch sports on TV, play darts, enjoy a few board games, and there’s even something to keep the kids entertained. A proper gem of a pub.”

“Me and my friends came in on Tuesday evening for some food and drinks. Amazing service from start to finish, Rosie and Ray were both fabulous, very busy night yet the food was amazing and service very fast. Reasonable wine prices, can’t beat £30 Picpoul in Twickenham!”

“I went into this shop last night to buy some wine for a dinner party I was attending. I know very little about wine but the lady informed me of what to get and advised me very well. I brought a red and white bath organic, both very reasonably priced. When I took them to the party everyone loved them and I wish I got more bottles. I didn’t catch the ladies name but she was tall and pretty. I would like to thank her for her advice and if I’m in the area I’ll definitely be going back.”

“We had the pleasure of eating here over 2 days (morning and evening) We were staying at Premier Inn next door due to work. Sharon and Jack could not do enough to make our experience a very pleasant one. Everything done with a smile and a chat. I had the steak and ale pie Monday evening - just WOW! Tuesday evening Katsu chicken - equally as nice. Sharon was on breakfast Tuesday morning and we were met with a smile and a lovely greeting and very nice breakfast. Jackie looked after us yesterday and was lovely and attentive too. Lovely food, brilliant staff great atmosphere.”
