June 2025- just updating this because Chris and Mehmet as ever have been incredible- after my car showing all the symptoms of a knackered catalytic converter I was braced for a hideous bill. Chris had a poke about and isolated a wiring issue- he did his magic then told me to take the car home, drive it about for a few days and any further issues I should bring it back in rather than him start to take apart the engine and cost me a fortune in labour prior to any kind of diagnostic. Happily enough the issue was sorted and the bill? Only £80 plus VAT rather than god knows how much just on labour prior to any kind of further repair. Just shows how decent and honest these guys are. Thanks Chris and Mehmet, as a woman who only knows a bit about cars, going to a garage can be really intimidating, especially in London, but your approach means I can relax knowing I’m never going to be taken for a ride. “Perfect Touch are a very well run organisation, every individual I’ve had the pleasure to deal with has been extremely friendly and professional. I’ve been a customer of theirs for the last few years and would recommend them as the go to garage for any car in particular high performance vehicles. I first went to Perfect Touch to have a complete engine overhaul as those that know the 911/996 comes with an inherent issue of piston and boar failure, perfect touch rectified this for me yes it was costly but a lot less expensive than Porsche themselves. Since then I’ve continue to employ their services, they know my vehicle and more importantly they know me and look after me, what sets them apart from Porsche is the personal touch of treating me as valuable customer.”

“Took my car based on a friend’s recommendation, and so glad I did - my car needed a new clutch, and I was warned that gear cables and box might need replacing - all would have been costly and what I was expecting to hear from most mechanics, however Acton Services only needed to replace clutch and tightened my cables for free - I was truly impressed by their honesty and service. One of my friends who lives close by, told me that this garage has been here for as long as he can remember, compared to other services along the road. Also note, that the garage did not ask me to provide a recommendation, I had to ask them how to provide one for them. Glad I went on a friend’s recommendation, as it’s far better to trust.”

“I've recently moved to the area and as there are so many MOT garages, I wasn't sure where to go so I took a gamble on Chequers and what a brilliant choice I made. As a female, I'm not 100% with cars but I'm no newbie either and have been to many places who have tried me but Chequers, a lovely family owned business, took care of my car and thoroughly checked it over. Not only did they provide excellent service which took no more than 20 minutes or so, they even offered me information for the best garages around if any repairs are needed at low prices! Best of all, I was talking about how I needed a new clutch and how much money it'll cost me and they provided more info which in turn saved me well over £400-500 estimated on a new clutch!!!
