(I didn't try the desserts) The fish were crispy and juicy The chips were plump and fluffy The calamari and prince prawns were also cooked to perfection All The staff were also very friendly and helpful 9.5 / 10 - I don't believe in perfection but this was pretty close. “Fantastic service from Ellis Saturday night! really attentive and kind, everything you look for in a waiter :) food was yummy, is expensive but you get what you pay for! thanks again Ellis. Parking is good, you don’t need to put reg in. Also took a picture of cocktail I recommend, and the mocktail version of it. I had a mocktail this time as was driving but the cocktail version tastes the same :). I recommend the calamari for a starter, and always a steak or burger for main!”

“Can not recommend highly enough. We have been visiting Slaters for the past three years for our son suits for collage. Every visit, every suit, (our son has now had 5 fitted suits) the staff knows exactly what to do. Sizes spot on, and if the suit needs tailoring, honestly the team work like magicians. Would love to say a special thank you to Spencer and John for the wonderful service over the years, you both go above and beyond for our son. It's lovely that you remember us year after year. “This is my go to place for wine and beer. There is always a great selection of ales and they are always on the lookout for new types to add. The wine selection is great and although I source my wine in France I always grab a few Australian bottles on offer when I'm there which are always a winner with friends who try them The staff are always knowledgeable on wine and beer so make sure to ask!”

“One of the best cinemas in south London. Reasonably priced tickets, spacious, and every seat is a recliner. Only downside is the speakers behind some of the screens sometimes carry such heavy reverb that the image has visible ripples. Not a deal breaker, but noteworthy as it's an impact to the biggest perk of the cinema experience - the high quality visual experience you can't get at home.”

The staff were friendly and attentive, making the whole experience even better. … I had been asked even which piece I would like. I liked the transparency of the place, basically you can see how your ordered meal is being prepared. They are operating an open kitchen, as you can see in my me of my pictures. I popped in for a quick pint and ended up staying for hours – the atmosphere was just that infectious. The decor is a delightful mix of quirky and cozy, making you feel right at home (if your home had an endless supply of top-notch beer, that is). The staff? Absolute legends. They know their stuff and have a knack for making you feel like a regular, even if it’s your first visit. I went for a pint of their finest brew, and let me tell you, it was like a hug in a glass – smooth, flavorful, and just the right amount of froth. And let’s not forget the crowd. It’s a lively bunch, full of characters who could easily star in their own sitcom. By the end of the night, I felt like I had made a dozen new friends and laughed more than I had in ages. In short, The Partridge is the place to be if you want great beer, great company, and a guaranteed good time. Five stars all the way!”

“Amazing pub with friendly staff and the food is really tasty. The first time I came they even allowed me to have the kids roast as I wasn’t too hungry and it was lovely. Tried their mini plates today with chicken wings, kofta and mac and cheese croquettes which were great and also tried their bacon chop with the fantastic pepper sauce. The kids craft table on Sundays is fantastic and the reason we came back two Sundays in a row. Our daughter loves it there and the staff was great at letting the kids be creative and have fun. This is the reason why we will keep coming back on Sundays if they keep up the Kids Craft Table.”

She brought out insoles for me to better help me visualise how the shoe would fit when I eventually do buy, and was incredibly knowledgeable about the brand. There was also a lady with a headscarf (I didn’t get her name) who was brilliant in making me feel welcome, offering me a glass of Prosecco and water for the duration of my browse.
