“I went to this place in July to try on a shirt and I was served by a horrible woman, I think she was the manager from what I gathered as she was talking down to her colleagues etc. I was asking about the returns policy because I wanted to see how it would like with my suit at home and she said I couldn’t return it? So I left the shirt and she was so rude about it, to the point where she started ignoring me! then thought ahhh I won’t go back there again but then gave it another try on Friday just gone as I was in a last minute panic so it was my last resort and Martin was a godsend, he was so accommodating, he essentially created a fashion montage for me and my two friends which really made the whole experience so fun! He could see I was struggling with making a decision and kept the store open for a bit longer just so I didn’t feel under pressure. I think all stores need a Martin, he turned a negative experience into such a positive one! Managed to get my tux in time, the store managed to send it for alterations and get it back to us a day earlier than expected!”

He arrived perfectly on time as agreed, completed checks swiftly and efficiently. Nikesh was very friendly and very respectful of our space.”

“Went into Hotters at Kingston on Thames on Saturday 23rd November 2024 and was greeted by a really wonderful young lady called Imogen. I explained how I suffer with swollen feet and ankles and am unable to wear the many pairs of hotter shoes and boots I own. She listened to my needs and went above and beyond in helping me. She was empathic, caring, genuine and nothing was too much trouble. This member of staff is an absolute credit to Hotters, the service and trouble she took was exemplary. She sold me 1 pair of boots and I also ordered another pair in black. My feet aren't cold, I'm comfortable and I had a very touching experience with an absolutely amazing member of staff. “Been a regular here for years and you’re probably thinking why I haven’t left a review. Because the FOOD always gets the best of me and it’s all I can think about. It sends me to another dimension eating their food. Highly recommend their chicken tikka biriyani as it’s one of a kind and one you will not want to miss. Cheeky bugger even comes with a veggie curry which is just the cherry on top. Takeaway is family friendly as well - everytime I come with my kids, one of the chefs always gives them sweets or a chocolate bar. “I am a new retiree and have recently become a volunteer at Barnfield Riding for Disabled/Riding School. I didn’t know what to expect …but the kindness and expert care shown to the horses and clients is exactly what I hoped. At age 66..and having not ridden for many many years..I have been inspired by the staff here to soon start my own riding lessons and aim to get back in the saddle…something I never thought I would ever do. I unreservedly recommend. (maybe anyone reading this might consider volunteering too?)”
