“I’ve visited a few times in the last month, predominantly to grab coffee and work. The staff are always very friendly and last time I visited with my partner, we were given a free pot of Persian tea, which was delicious. The coffee (particularly cappuccino) is excellent, as are the smoothies. The food is very good on the whole, though I would personally prefer the bacon fried or grilled. Would highly recommend popping by for a coffee and breakfast/brunch.”

“Sutherland has been a great nursery! Our son really enjoyed his time there, but he had to leave due to relocation. The highlight was the staff who were very kind and sweet. My son settled very well after a couple of weeks. He often wanted a morning cuddle from the staff with a smile on his face when I dropped him off in the morning. They did lots of fun activities, like making cards, costume party, celebration for national book day and sensory activities. The management team is very responsive. When I asked about the dietary plan and requested more meals with meat/fish, they acted in a few days to increase to 4 days/week with meat/fish. We also like their onsite kitchen so all the food could be prepared freshly for our son :) Their financial manager Julia is very friendly and helpful. She usually replies my email promptly with detailed answers. When my son needed to leave after giving notice, they made some adaptation for our schedule and waived some of the fee. That was very appreciated! We were a bit shocked by the 48hr quarantine policy regardless of the child's illness. That was challenging for us as two full-time working parents, but the manager said that policy will be reviewed in the future. Overall, our experience with Sutherland was great!”

“Just brought my hamster from there and the staff was very helpful and efficient. The staff made the process very easy for me as they were open and welcoming. The hamster is healthy and active - he seems very used to people and is quite calm despite his first day here. This shows how responsible and caring the staff is. I will definitely be a frequent customer. :)”

“The best pizza in its class & for price. You can trust my review, I am a chef from next door & I am a very fussy eater. I eat here quite often simply because they make really tasty Amercian style pizza. Nice clean dough, which they make in house. Very friendly staff & owners. Much better than your usual clap trap Dominoes, Pappa John or Pizza Hut. Support local, support independent, support these guys.”

“Popped in for lunch on the spur of the moment and thank goodness we did. We were greeted warmly and given the menu and chose, I had lamb souvlaki which was absolutely delicious, the chunks weren't massive like in other restaurants which I don’t like, they were cooked to perfection with strong Mediterranean flavours, my wife had a salad that had avocado and Halloumi with a trio of dips to go with again the flavours were perfect, the atmosphere was great and we will definitely be going again as it’s local for us. Thanks for a wonderful lunch”

“Disability accessible. Ground floor entrance. Toilets on the ground floor. Staff welcoming and excellent hosts, they were very attentive and we felt well cared for.. Clean and well organised. The food is fresh, delicious, and has a good portion. We had more than we could manage, and they provided takeaway trays so we could take it home. There are lots of options for vegetarians. They will also tailor your curry to your taste, i.e., add chillies, make it more spicy or hot for you. The best bit was the trays that were provided with the poppadoms. The variety of choices and flavours were really good. Best chutneys and presentation ever. The restaurant is on the main road with bus stops, which is good. They provide takeaways and plenty of seating for cosy small tables or large groups. We went early so and it was not full but it got busier as the evening went on. One thing I like is to listen to is Indian music, which adds to my experience of the culture and atmosphere. However, the music was cheesy pop like Taylor Swift, but it was not distracting. Thank you for the complimentary liquor and chocolates at the end of our meal.”

“I had always wanted a coffee table that converted into a dinning table. I knew cadira did one so I went to the ideal home show to see theirs. I was impressed and even managed to get a good discount. After 6 weeks, I was notified that the table had arrived. Delivery was prompt and very efficient. I love the table, it does wonderful things and though I have not yet used it for a dinner party, that is on the cards real soon. The staff I spoke to to arrange delivery and the staff that delivered it were always professional and helpful.”

Vegetables are super fresh I couldn't believe the size of the peppers and how delicious they were, and so cheap. If you are a foodie definitely give it a visit as their selection is fantastic.This is now definitely our local, goodbye Sainsbury's.”
