“Lovely restaurant with wonderful food. They bring complimentary dishes out which give you the opportunity to try something different. Their dry garlic chicken is now my favourite. On a parade of shops hidden away on a residential road, I highly recommend this restaurant which we have become a regular customer’s .”

“Branded was very well decorated for the festive season. I placed the order to collect, the order was late by the estimated time by a few minutes but it was understandable as it was Christmas Eve. Love the steaks from branded, there is a noodle dish that is very nice and my personal favourite — surf and turf. Food was still warm when I got home — great choice for dinner. My fillet was perfectly medium rare. The sauces are very nice too, not too rich.”

“Came in to watch the Euros final - very busy, but was able to reserve a table on the day thanks to the incredibly helpful staff. Incredible atmosphere, with a wealth of historical features. Staff went above and beyond; really fast service despite how busy it was. Excellent range of beers on tap, and very reasonable prices. Can’t wait to visit again.”

We had the sea bass in coconut and lime - excellent -, the „lorry drivers‘“ lamb shank, a chicken dish and channa (spiced up), with pullau and mushroom rice. All very tasty with generous and fresh spices, good portion and imho decently priced. Smiling and attentive service and public parking round the corner. Definitely recommended!”

“Hired the place out for my 40th party last weekend and had a blast. I paid extra for a late license which takes music up to about 12, but means you don’t have to exit until around 1 - highly recommend for a bit of flexibility. Price is really reasonable for hire, but also the drinks & food are too. The food was fab, I even brought home some for the next day and it was super tasty. Everyone who attended had a fab time and the staff there on the evening couldn’t do enough to make it a special night! I know family who are local will look to use the venue again.”

“We have just returned from lunch at Giacomos which is one of our favourite restaurants. They always serve excellent meals with good service and today was no exception. We had a three course delicious meal with wine and coffee which was served promptly and competitively priced. We’ll be back!”

“Our local favourite. My wife and I come here all the time. We’ve had the poke bowl, sushi, and rice bowls. The fish is always fresh, the portions are a good size and it is priced fairly. The staff are really lovely and it’s a simple but nice place to eat in. Sevenoaks doesn’t have many good restaurants but this is an exception. We look forward to our next treat dinner at Nihaw”

“I thought I would try a new take away this week and I can say I was not disappointed and will be making the lantern my new local! The service was great the lady at the counter was very friendly and bubbly which I am not used to for a take away. The food was steaming hot and full of flavour and tasted like quality and generous portions all at a reasonable price.”

“Hidden Gem! So pleased my colleague introduced me to this lovely little coffee shop today! It’s such a cute place with plenty of seating both inside and out. The coffee tastes amazing and is really well made. The lady serving us was very friendly, and the prices are really reasonable too. “A lovely local pub in the charming village of Shoreham. The service was great and I had a tasty half pint of Bigfoot from the local Stay Wild brewery. I’m not usually a fan of pale ale but this subtle and aromatic.”

I have worked in hospitality for a decade and I can't understand why this doesn't have a higher review score. The food was the best I've had in a pub in years, the service was so personal and attentive without being imposing. We had a few dietary requirements that were accommodated with no bother at all. The atmosphere was lovely and overall we are just so thrilled to have such a wonderful pub in the village. The new management have really created such a cosy, welcoming vibe with really high standards of food and service. Thank you - highly recommend.”
