“My absolute favourite coffee shop, I live locally and I always come here whenever I can because the coffee and cakes, are incredible, I always get an Americano here because they are the best I have tasted, and I once had a blueberry tart here with a friend and we both loved it. Mrs Marjan is super nice and always recognises customers, super nice place and a great addition to Northwood highstreet.”
“The food arrived piping hot!! It was very tasty and arrived on time. The Cat approves of the chicken too!”
“Lovely staff , great new chef and lovely food. Having a the view whilst enjoying a lovely meal was superb. The hotel receptionist was so welcoming too.”
“The food was so fresh and tasty, I really enjoyed the meal I had with my son. The atmosphere was lovely and bright with the gorgeous glass ceiling and not to forget how super friendly and helpful all the staff were!! I left a happy customer!! Thank you!”
“Only tried tiramasu for food but it was so light, fluffy and delicious. Would come back to try breakfast and/or mains. Enjoyed the atmosphere and feel - lovely for cosy, intimate catch ups with a loved one. Thank you so much Dave for your friendly service and for the complimentary drinks after noticing it was my friends birthday. Would recommend! Update: another complimentary brownie with a candle from Zach after hearing it was my friends birthday! Thank you so much! Also love the heated outdoor area which has shelter from rainy nights”
“Incredible food! Such a fantastic local gem. The seafood rice was a standout dish.”
“Definitely my favourite place for brunch or breakfast in Teddington, or just a simple cappuccino and pastry! In particular, the French Toast and all the trimmings is stunning… Fabulous food. Happy, fun and friendly staff and owner. Totally recommended! Cheers :)”
“The food and the service were absolutely amazing. I recommend to anyone passing through the area or visiting to come here. The smoothies were so refreshing. Ordered the all day breakfast special and french toast, it was just so good.”
“Such a loving atmosphere, the service was so lovely and nice. We went on a Sunday around 4pm and it was so peaceful. Food and dessert were amazing. Best pizza I’ve ever had. The tiramisu was sooo delicious, best I’ve had. Would 1000% recommend. Prices were very affordable £13+ for a large pizza.”
“Absolutely amazing experience. I went for my birthday and received a little card and bunch of flowers. We did the all you can eat and the sushi was phenomenal, great options and so yummy. Staff were really friendly and the resturant looks beautiful. Would 100% recommend”
“Owner Kazim is someone every person should meet. Brimming with life, he is just the kind of person you need to accompany your morning coffee!”
“Amazing! Food is incredible, 2 London pizzas and double waffle fries were plenty for four of us, so good value too. Service was friendly - would definitely recommend.”
“Incredible lunch! Not only the food was insanely delicious, but also the service was impeccable. Everyone is so nice, genuine and welcoming. Not wondering why the restaurant is there since a long time! The care of the team in every single detail is second to none. Favourite restaurant ever!”
“Sophisticated fine dining venue that works beautifully for special occasions, even with larger groups. The tasting menu cleverly weaves Asian aromatics into Italian foundations. Cocktails and tea service bookend the meal nicely. The smoked focaccia and strawberry-sauced raw fish were our evening's highlights - creative and expertly executed. The pasta course was excellent, though the grilled quail felt somewhat predictable for this calibre of menu. One of the starters being another fried item seemed like a missed opportunity for more variety. For the price point, it delivers solid value and a memorable experience. Staff are exceptional - knowledgeable about every dish and genuinely passionate. Arrive early and you might snag counter seats with kitchen views, which adds to the experience.”
“Cracking evening at the Bouch. The flavour in general in the food has some of the best depth I’ve tasted in French cooking. Staff are attentive, knowledgeable and friendly. Atmosphere was great, bustling but not cramped, very convivial. It’s pricey and the portion sizes are on the small side, but the quality is there.”
“First time I've been here. Staff are genuinely friendly, warm and helpful. They have a smile to greet you and eye contact which I think is lacking in most places. Food a step above the normal brunch. Bacon and sausages good quality and poached eggs perfectly cooked. Highly recommend this place.”
“Really lovely staff, food was delicious and portions were great. The meal platters are a great size and have a nice variety of fish. We had ramen and sushi and enjoyed both throughly. Mochi was also delicious, great way to end the meal.”
“We were a group of 4 adults and 2 young kids that visited Medlar for lunch on a Sunday. The décor did feel a bit formal but the friendly staff helped to create a relaxed atmosphere. They offer a price fixe menu of between 1 and 3 courses (with an optional extra cheese course), which felt refreshingly old school in this era of sharing plates that we all live in. Between the 4 adults, we tried out the crab raviolo and slow cooked rabbit starters, followed by the roast quail, calf’s liver and roast guinea fowl mains. For dessert we shared the tart tatin, crème brulee and warm chocolate mousse. The food was beautifully presented and quite flavourful as well. From the starters we tried the crab raviolo was the clear winner, all the mains seemed similarly good, while the tart tatin was an excellent finisher to the meal. I must give special mention to the kid friendliness of the place, as this is not what I expected after reviewing the published menu online which wouldn’t appeal to younger kids. They were very accommodating to our children and offered to tailor make a dish using any mix of items on the menu at a reasonable price of £20. On that note the service was a real highlight of our meal, all the staff we interacted with seemed so genuine and friendly. The bill for the 6 of us came to £414 of which £92 was spent on drinks. The set price per adult of £58 for 3 courses is a relative bargain in this part of town (note that the price does vary based on time of the week, even though very similar menus are on offer), even more so once you consider their very generous servings of complementary bread as well as the chocolate truffles after our meal. On the whole an excellent meal in a place with old worldly charm and with so many tempting items on the menu yet to be tried, I will certainly be back in future…”
“Found it randomly while walking in the area. Great find! Owned and managed by a French couple. My galette was excellent, exactly like in France. Will come again”
“My bf and I got the ‘Off the hook’ option to share - so tasty!!! I picked it up for collection, Cee Cee was really nice and approachable. Highly recommend!”
“We’ve been coming to Le Moulin for some fifteen years and have never been disappointed. We’ve ordered the most beautiful celebratory cakes and the pastries at this lovely little patisserie are exquisite. The cafe has a lovely homely atmosphere and the owners are always welcoming. We have tried many other menu items and they are always well prepared. We love the charm of Le Moulin and always look forward to returning.”
“My husband and I had dinner at Paulette for our wedding anniversary. It was the first time we ate there, but certainly won't be the last! Everything, from the cosy atmosphere, to the attentive staff and the absolutely delicious food - made for a wonderful night. Our waiter Marcus was brilliant and accommodating as well. 10/10!”
“Absolutely delicious galette as a delivery... Complete with extra ham... If I was in the restaurant would have defo doubled up on a confit duck. 5 min in the oven works a charm... So delicious... Great treat... Thank you for the kind message on the box! See you soon”
“We booked this place sight unseen for a local reunion for 12 people. The owner couldn't have been more accommodating and gave discreet but friendly service even though we were all busy catching up with 30+ years of news. The food was good and catered well for vegans and vegetarians, as well as meat eaters, although a couple of the dishes were a little oversalted. Was also accessible to people with disabilities. We stayed for five hours and felt very welcome for the whole time. Recommended. Thank you Bistro Corner!”
“A truly special place. The food was phenomenal and consistent with every course impressing us with both flavour and presentation. The setting and ambience is pitched just right without being stuffy. The service was a cut above, with everyone being friendly and super attentive. We went for the tasting menu at dinner time and would recommend a thousand times over for a special occasion.”
“I had an incredible dining experience at this French restaurant! The service felt personal, like being cared for by family, with excellent recommendations tailored to my taste. The food was delicious, featuring perfectly average portions, refreshing compared to the oversized servings in America. The wine selection was impressive, offering quality options without exorbitant prices. And the dessert? Simply divine! It's surprising they haven't received a Bib Gourmand, especially after trying some disappointing places on that list. Overall, this is one of the best French restaurants in London, highly recommended!”
“Wonderful experience french cuisine lovingly realised in a beautiful setting. Great vibes midweek. Exceptional”
“I really missed pizza Fritta but it is really hard to find outside Naples. Finally get to have it again in London. The service is chill. The food is definitely amazing and decent. We recommend the complete one.”
“Exceptional place to eat! We visited on Saturday 6 September with friends and family to celebrate my husband's 70th birthday. Our experience was just superb! Exceptional food, service, atmosphere, ambience and we all had such fun! Thank you so much! We cannot wait to return! AND thank you for my recipe! Best wishes from Marcus and Dee”
“100% the best pizza in London and my fave thing about living in Brockley. Delicious pizza (the macgyver is INCRED), friendly staff, stunning location and the rosemary and lemon dip just tops it all off. Get yourself there asap!!!”
