“Family friendly and cosy experience. I had a lovely afternoon tea with my mum for mother's day. Coffee was great, sandwiches tasty and lots of sweet treats. The tea room was beautifully vintage, quirky and fun. Thank you to the owner and her family for being so friendly. I recommend the afternoon tea experience or a visit for a snack or coffee to support a local business.”

“Fantastic find after a wonderful walk. Super helpful staff. Delicious, freshly battered fish finger sandwich plus sumptuous skin on fries. Perfect meat pizza with fab cheesyness and their our special tomato sauce. Dessert didn't disappoint - generous portion of sticky toffee pudding with lashings of butterscotch sauce and ice cream. Great work Chef!”

Last week I popped into Charlie's and he was brilliant. Twenty minutes, in and out, good chat, top job, great price. I'll be back there every time I need to look like a presentable human.”

“I stopped by the restaurant this evening around 5 p.m. It had a nice, relaxed vibe, and there were not too many customers around. The atmosphere was great, and the food was delicious, with quick service to match. I decided to try the Sake Don, which was the perfect portion for one person. They served a generous amount of rice, but I couldn't finish it all. I also ordered some Ikura sushi, which tasted different from what I had before but was tasty. Plum Wine Spritzer was the ideal pairing—refreshing and easy to sip, with just the right amount of alcohol. Overall, everything was great!”

“My favourite local Cafe for sure..... Gardens great in warmer weather. I don't understand some of the bad reviews especially relating to it being expensive. Ignore those. Also about the owner being rude. I've live in this neighborhood for 7 years and he very very very lovely and friendly. I can 100% verify this as the best cafe in the area. I love it and come regularly. Always piping hot food, great customer service and very reasonably price.”
