Generous portions (the lemonade comes with its own small jug so you get at least a few refills out of it) Lovely fresh produce it was an absolute banquet with a selection of jams and delicious bread. We also had excellent service from Jessie who was extremely patient and lovely to our group of 6! Also seems to be a very popular spot for people to do work on their laptops”

    The Rose

    ★★★★☆ 4.3
    Open

“We had such a fantastic time at The Rose that I feel compelled to share it. From start to finish, the experience was faultless. The food was outstanding – the scotch eggs were perfection: crisp and golden on the outside, with a beautifully soft centre, and seasoned just right. The chips were the kind you always hope for in a pub but rarely find – hot, perfectly cooked, fluffy inside and wonderfully crunchy on the outside. Everything tasted fresh, homemade, and done with care. What really elevated our visit, though, was the service. Our waitress, Alice, went above and beyond to make sure everything was spot on. She was warm, attentive, and genuine – always checking in at the right moments without ever being intrusive. She made us feel completely welcome and added such a personal touch to the whole evening. It’s rare these days to find a pub that gets everything right – great food, great atmosphere, and truly exceptional service – but The Rose absolutely nailed it. We’ll definitely be back, and I’ll be recommending it to friends and family without hesitation.”

My daughter was entertained messing around with the collection of board games (adult games, not kids ones) and we both had a good time. I’d like to go back and enjoy a pint or two in other circumstances. Cheers!”

It was delicious! I’d like to thank all the staff who looked after us as they were always there to clear our tables and ask if we wanted more drinks. Sadly I can’t name all of the wonderful staff but a lovely member of the team called Dee was one of them. She always had a big smile and was just amazing overall. Thank you for making our experience very special and merry Christmas x”

The haircuts are very good on their own but if you show them a picture the barbers will style it just like that so it looks exactly the same. The pictures are from my latest visit after my exams, that's almost 6 months of hair. That's Sid next to me he did a fantastic job, I'll be coming back for sure. Thanks Sid”

“Dining at Sophie’s was a delightful experience. Despite making a reservation for 8:30 PM and finding the restaurant fairly quiet, the ambiance was warm and inviting, allowing me to relax and enjoy my meal. I decided to try their signature dishes, and I was not disappointed. The meal began with a fresh green salad that was crisp and flavorful, setting the perfect tone for the evening. For the main course, I indulged in their delectable offering, which was expertly prepared and bursting with taste. The highlight of the meal was the salted caramel ice cream, which is homemade and simply divine. The balance of sweet and salty was perfectly executed, making it a must-try. My waiter, Max, was incredibly helpful and attentive, ensuring that I had everything I needed to enjoy my meal. His friendly demeanor added to the overall positive experience. I left Sophie’s Chelsea feeling satisfied and content, and I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a charming dining experience in Chelsea. I look forward to returning and exploring more of their menu in the future!”
