“We had a lovely lunch at the Woolpack today with my elderly parents. The food was beautiful and the staff were very attentive. Anna, our waitress, was lovely and gave us some good recommendations on the menu. Benji, was very observant and considerate when he saw my elderly father heading towards the toilets (which are upstairs) he followed and kindly opened the disabled toilet for him instead. Lovely place. Highly recommend.”

“What a place! Stumbled across Smoking Goat for lunch and were immediately greeted by friendly staff who found us a table despite no reservation. The food was fantastic and all freshly cooked. Make sure you have the fried chicken as a sharer. Great choice of beers too served in iced glasses.”

“This is anew restaurant in the neighbourhood. We went there for lunch & were pleased with both the food quality as well as service. As we went in lunch time, we only had a pasta dish each. Mine was Spaghetti Al Nero Di Seppia (squid cooked in ink)My friend had Linguine Alla Scoglio (mixed seafood). Both were excellent. Tiramisu was superb too. Deco in the restaurant was casual but warm. Shame it was rather empty as crowds would always affect atmosphere.”

Max provided the best service I’ve ever had friendly, attentive, and incredibly helpful. He made sure I found exactly what I needed and made the whole visit enjoyable. Highly recommend visiting schuh and asking for Max. He’s outstanding!”

“I've been coming to this costa coffee every morning between 6:30am - 7am while work brought me near by. The service even at this time (busy builder hour) is on point rapid and friendly from my very first visit. The coffee is consistent - (that's what we care about the most) and the ability to remember customers orders seems to be a point of personal pride to the staff here.”

“Stopped off on the way back from Polesden Lacey to London. Ate two roast chicken baps with 2 pint sized soft drinks. Absolute bargain lunch at 19 quid for the lot - especially as portion size was ginormous and the chicken was excellent quality! Landlady was on her own and super busy but incredibly friendly and welcoming. Service was excellent.”

“Quiet and clean pub. A variety of all common beers including the light beer coors, can't grade the food. I did not have any and don't think that food is served here.”

“Just had an early dinner here tonight & we were pleasantly surprised that our meals were so delicious. I had bangers & mash & my friend had nachos. Both meals were piping hot & had great flavour. We found the sizes on the smaller side but that suited us perfectly. Prices were reasonable & in line with the portion size. Staff were friendly & helpful. No complaints & may call in again during our stay in beautiful Bayswater”

“Truly the best pub in London. Cracking bar staff and lovely locals make this corner pub in Lewisham a testament to the pub culture of London. They host a fantastic karaoke night. Anyone who doesn’t like this pub, I wouldn’t care to know them. UP THE TAVERN. I don’t think they do food but fantastic crisp/salty snack selection so they get 5’s across the board.”

“Paul and Mariella, you were were amazing. We had come from an extremely traumatic experience with a customer at another place and they were fantastic in making sure we felt safe and looked after. Good wine list, friendly clientele and they themselves were very welcoming and made us feel safe.”

“Saturday afternoon pub lunch in the sun with the kids. 2 adult meals and 2 kids meals came to about £40 without drinks, which I felt was really reasonable. I had the tandoori chicken skewers and it was absolutely delicious. Came with fries, hot sauce, tatziki, grains and salad. Couldn't fault it. My partner had the sea bass which she loved and was a nice healthier option too. Also tried the chocolate brownie which was to die for.”

“The perfect venue for any event! I had my wedding celebration here and it was the best decision as it looked over onto the registry office which added that extra special touch, the venues were in walking distance of each other meaning the flow from the registry to the celebrations was effortless. The atmosphere and decor were also amazing and adding a great ambience. The owner was incredibly accommodating and friendly, and helped us navigate the last minute alterations. The food was absolutely delicious and guests are still talking about it to this day despite the wedding taking place back in November. The team went above and beyond to make our day truly special and I cannot thank them enough for everything they did. Overall, I would highly recommend this venue for any event, it was truly the perfect choice!”
