But they've added a really well selected range of quality foods to the mix, including plenty of stuff from small local producers. You can now buy excellent sourdough, Union coffee and hard to find ingredients like Thai basil. This is a new business that deserves local support!”

“I boarded my cat and dog with Oak Cottage Kennels & Cattery for the first time as our usual kennels and cattery were fully booked. I went to take a look and was very impressed by the very knowledgeable, professional and friendly staff. I could tell immediately that they put the welfare of the pets first. They were very good at explaining how the kennels work on a daily basis. I booked in two trial days for our Labrador and then both my cat and dog stayed for two weeks. I had very regular photos and it was obvious they were both enjoying their stay. I would like to thank everyone for looking after my pets in an exceptional manner. “We just came out of this feeling super full and satisfied. This is our second visit as I lobe their Chicken Katsu Curry. I tried sushi today and it’s yummy! It was super busy when we arrived and nearly ended up having take away but one of the staff, Elina, managed to accommodate us. She is super sweet, attentive and looked after us well. I would be bringing my friends and family around next time. Five stars for food, atmosphere, service and beer!”

“This place is great. The service was superb my wife and I felt welcome and like home. The food was delicious. We ordered: burrata, mushroom cream soup, king prawns in garlic sauce, beef lasagne, and cremé caramel. We also had the house wine from Sicilia. Toilets and kitchen looked and were clean. There were several tables for 1-2 people, and many other for medium parties 6-8 people. We were given a shot of lime liquor at the end. The only negative aspect of the visit is seeing some flies inside, they were annoying. Sadly, this part stuck in our heads. Maybe they could be more careful with the back door.”

“Angel Cafe is one of my favourite places to go. The staff are always so kind and welcoming, and the service is genuinely amazing every time. It’s such a lovely atmosphere really cosy and relaxing. The food is always fresh and delicious, and there’s such a great variety to choose from. Frix and Dini were really helpful when I couldn’t make my mind up even arranging for me to see the bigger slabs at another location. “I absolutely loved the atmosphere and service in this restaurant. It is very cosy in the front, but it extends to the back and even has a beautiful garden that will be lovely in the Summer. It is great for a date night or if gathering with friends. Food was very tasty and the dessert was very delicious. I had salmon fillet and tiramisu. House wine was very good too. Highly recommend it and definitely will be back.”

“Arati is an unassuming restaurant on a side road amongst other restaurants which has a traditional charm about it. Decor is traditional, which provides a great atmosphere compared to more modern clinical decors. The staff are friendly and very attentive. The menu has a wide choice to suit everyone and even a section titled "English"! Food is fresh and cooked to perfection. On street parking only, which is possible on the single yellow lines from 7pm.”

“Just why this small and friendly restaurant isn’t packed out every night is a mystery!!! Spread the word - it is fantastic!!! We went with friends a week ago to this Mauritian fusion restaurant for the first time and it was like discovering a treasure hidden in plain sight. We were greeted warmly by a very friendly waitress and had our pick of tables as there were only two other tables taken. My wife and I shared a starter of Black Tiger Prawn Fusion which was absolutely fantastic. We then both had a Daube de Poulet for our mains. I cannot begin to describe just how good this was - the chicken was moist, tender and yet still firm and the sauce was amazing. We option to vary the heat level of the spices was good as well. With a couple of glasses of wine the bill came to less than £30/head - an absolute bargain for this quality of food. The menu offers a suitably wide selection that should appeal to all tastes whilst enabling everything to be freshly cooked to order. We looked at other dishes coming out of the kitchen and they all looked very appetising indeed. All I can say is that you should go to this restaurant - it will be something worth while I promise you. And then tell all your friends about it and make sure they go too - they will thank you!!!”

“First time at this little gem & will definitely become a regular! Service & food was impeccable & couldn’t be faulted even if I tried!. At the end of our meal the chef even came out and greeted each table to ask how everything was which I thought gave such a personal touch & was very appreciated. The atmosphere & vibe was very cozy. “My extended family and I have been using T and H Motors for over 10 years. They continue to show professionalism and skill in any task on any of our cars. Whether it has been re spraying a range rover, ordering parts for a car that is no longer imported into the UK or just sorting out a difficult problem. They always charge fair and reasonable rates and carry out exceptional work. I am using them again now so I wanted to take the time to add this review because of the time and support they have given me. They are also excellent at servicing and providing MOTs.”

“Have eaten in this restaurant a few times always been great. Haven’t been for 4 or 5 years. Visited on Sunday for Sunday set lunch. I didn’t realise they did the traditional roast beef chicken or lamb along with fish dishes. £22.95 for 2 courses. Starters we all had prawn cocktail nicest one almost ever eaten very generous portion size packed with prawns. Roast Beef was delicious potatoes light crispy and fluffy very good horseradish in fact I think it’s the best roast dinner for miles around. Service great. Very impressed why haven’t I come more often I ask myself. Will be back.”
