From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by Daniel and his cousin, both incredibly friendly and welcoming. They made me feel right at home with their relaxed and approachable demeanour. Daniel’s cousin chatted with me for a bit, ensuring I was comfortable, before Daniel took over to handle the work. The shop itself has a fantastic atmosphere. The wood-panelled walls give it a warm, classy touch, while the ceiling, illuminated with rows of circular lights, creates a vibrant yet calming space. The cleanliness was impeccable—everything from the chairs to the equipment was spotless, showing their attention to detail and professionalism. I came in for a head shave, and as bald smart men know, this requires both precision and expertise. Daniel didn’t disappoint. He worked with steady, confident hands, making sure every part of the shave was smooth and flawless. He didn’t rush through it but took the time to ensure perfection. The aftercare was where he really excelled—applying a warm towel to soothe my skin, followed by a refreshing cool spray that left my head feeling clean and invigorated. Croydon Barber far exceeded the experiences I’ve had at typical shops, where service often feels rushed and impersonal. “I went in there today to look for some jewellery and walked out with a new piercing, so so happy with my it and the service was amazing. I got served by a woman called Ellie and she was so amazing she was kind and very professional! I originally wanted a different ear piercing but she talked me through it and we both thought it would be better in a different part of my ear and I just think shes such an amazing and honest person. I’ll be coming back to get pierced by her very soon and so will my sister. Really good experience here x”

“Used to get my nails done at a different place nearby, but they were very inconsistent with quality. I decided to come here for the first time, and I was extremely pleased. I got full set acrylics with gel paint. The service was superb - everyone was respectful & it was a nice atmosphere. The gentleman treated my hands so well & they kept the acrylics at a very good thickness (the other place I used to go did it way too thin so it’d never last more than 2 weeks!!). The almond shape that I chose was also very regular on each finger. Super pleased. Will continue to come back here unless something drastically changes. Keep up the brilliant work!! ☺️ ——————————- Update 1: Came back for red nails. Again they delivered exactly how I asked, and they took care of my bleeding cuticle so so so well.”

The only downside I would appreciate to be improved is that the place smells of acetone or other chemicals excessively due to lacking more efficient air conditioning and I suffered a light headache later on.”

The lady made sure at all points I was satisfied with how my nails looked, she checked with me about the length, colour and shape and it made me feel like she truly cared about how I feel about my nails. My nails look so clean and polished, and it was exactly what I was looking for. The lady was sweet and paid lots of attention to detail, making sure the sides of my finger isn’t stuck by the top glue and stuff like that. I also think it was reasonably priced, so I don’t see how anyone thinks this place is so terrible??”

I have been using them for over 12 years as before they were in smaller premises. I am very pleased with the eyebrow threading and find the staff very accommodating to my needs. I was pleased to get my appointment and even though last minute they had spa room prepared , warm and inviting. They gave adequate time for me to change and get dressed afterwards.
