“Great neighbourhood cafe. Cozy and friendly hence difficult to tear yourself away! Cornerstone Community Coffee shop is a friendly space where people can just find someone to talk to and get excellent coffee and light meals at affordable prices, or free in some circumstances. Vine Bar London

“What an incredible find! If you're looking for genuine Italian food made with passion, this is the place. The homemade lasagna, straight from a family recipe, was absolute perfection—rich, flavourful, and clearly made with love. The wine list was superb, and our server's recommendation was the perfect pairing. We finished with a fantastic dessert that was the ideal end to the meal. The best part was seeing the owner in the kitchen, pouring his heart into the food. That passion is the secret ingredient. We're already planning our next visit!”

    Dulce Coffee London

    ★★★★☆ 4.6

“We had the full (English) breakfast on the menu consisting of Toast, mushroom, baked beans and turkey rashers. My wife and I don’t take eggs so we requested for more portions of turkey rashers instead and they were lovely to oblige us. We had it with orange juice - and speaking of the orange juice, the best so far I’ve had in the uk. Real Orange juice which I believe was just blended and not Tesco orange juice. The breakfast was tasty and filling. The service was great too.”

    Daisy Grey Beckenham High Street

    ★★★★☆ 4.6
    Closed

“I’ve been a loyal Daisy Grey customer since 2023, and in that time it’s become far more than just a coffee stop for me — it’s been a constant companion through every stage of my academic and professional life. The team is consistently warm, friendly, and genuinely welcoming; they remember faces, orders, and even the little details that make you feel like part of the community. During my undergraduate degree, the outdoor heaters kept me company through countless study sessions. As a teacher, I found myself back here on early mornings, planning lessons with a cup of something extra hot (which they never fail to get just right). And the outdoor plug sockets? They witnessed the highs and lows of my master’s degree — drafts, deadlines, and all. The coffee is always delicious, reliably smooth, and prepared with care. Their pastries are just as unforgettable: the croissants are always fresh, warm, and perfectly flaky, and the banana bread is genuinely the best in town. The fact that the staff remember my regular extra-hot order says everything about the personal touch that sets Daisy Grey apart. I regularly drive an extra ten minutes from work, even on my shortest breaks, just to get a Daisy Grey coffee — it’s genuinely that worth it. Daisy Grey isn’t just a café; it’s been a backdrop to my growth, a comforting constant, and the best local spot I’ve ever had the pleasure of calling “mine.” Highly recommended.”

“Fancy the best steak in London? Come here. It’s the platonic ideal of a good steak. And the great news is that the wine, desserts, starters and sides are just as fabulous too. It’s also a great, noisy, cosy place with fantastic service. (Shout out to Emma, thanks for serving us so splendidly, and for making my dad — for his birthday — feel especially welcome. An utter delight. If you want to treat a carnivorous friend, take them here.”

“AMAZING staff, so lovely and friendly, we did a fab deal for snacks with a soft drink, popcorn and little sweet/savoury pot for £9! We went to see Sinners on a Monday at 2pm and were the only people in the screening, comfy seats and lovely and clean :) Tickets were £14 each, absolutely worth it and would now always choose over a chain cinema!”

“Had to come back to The Bank for my birthday last weekend and it was just as amazing as I remembered! From the moment we arrived, the service was great — big shoutout to Mo for making the evening feel extra special! All the staff were amazing — friendly, helpful, and just made the whole night feel easy and fun. Everyone at the party loved the food, the vibe, and the decor. I’d definitely recommend The Bank in Mill Hill for anything — whether it’s a relaxed dinner or a big celebration, they’ve got you covered.”
