“Took my wifes Mercedes 9 years old to get the auxiliary battery changed and replacement brake pads. After they diagnosed the problem it was a capacitor that had failed which they then replaced, they happily dealt with the warranty company to ensure the works were covered. They also advised the brake pads did not require replacing, demonstrates how honest they are. All this was done within a day and my wife collected the car. She commented she received the same warm welcome I got and even commented how comfortable she felt dealing the the guys down there. They know how to put you at ease. The service they provided was better than the Mercedes dealership we normally use and they are good as you would expect for the prices you pay!!!. Unit Exchange are fantastic, the labour charge very fair and extremely good for the highly experience guys there. I would highly recommend this family run business, I am certainly going to be using them again.”

Bodyworks R Us told me that they can repair and re spray the doors because the damage was not extensive. I appreciated the candid advice. I was concerned though if the colour could be matched to my car because my car has a pearly shine to it. But I was reassured and given the confidence that it would be matched and they definitely delivered. Samad and Akbar were both brilliant at sorting my car out. “I had a full service and MOT done... I booked online this was very easy... plus the prices/charges/what included/what is not are stated clearly/openly which I like. There is a growing number of mechanic venues you call and the price not as transparent which I do not favour. The MOT and service was completed in good time, and Mr Siddiqui sent video clips of what was done e.g., old parts that were replaced ... once again his style is open and transparent in a good way. He does not sub-contract his work which I like and feel my car is in safe hands. No hard sales and I was getting an honest and reliable service. Previously I went to garage that had good reviews but started to cut corners, overcharge and overtime for what ever reason was less transparent/helpful esp when subcontracting without being open about it.... so I looked else where naturally. I found this place based on the google reviews, gave it a go and now I recommend as it saved me the headache, of trying to find a reliable, affordable and transparent mechanic in London. Sincerely, thank you for actually delivering on what you advertise... it’s becoming rare to find a reliable/honest mechanic these days or perhaps I have been unlucky in the past. “I have a Volvo V70 2000, I had many lights showing on the dashboard and the car was not running as well as usual. I took it to my usual mechanic who could find what the problem was. I took the car to Glen at GB Autos and he found the problem straight away and although a replacement part cannot be found, he worked on re-soldering the part for me. I am delighted with the service offered at GB Autos and will be using them in the future. The service is excellent and the cost was reasonable , I am so glad that I found them.”

“Wonderful work done with extra kindness and compassion Everyone at the Drift Bridge Body shop is really professional - as we already knew but not many know they are also caring and kind. Foolishly, I drove my lovely Audi too close onto a kerb and caused the grill to come off, together with its body parts. Meanwhile, I had an accident and got electrocuted which seriously discombobulated me! They heard about it and the repair they did was fantastic and deserves a full 5 star rating BUT they went an extra 10 miles and made my car practically as good as new by proactively giving her an amazing new look, easing out wrinkles and giving her an amazing face scrub, lift and polish.
