“I am very sad to report that Maxims has, for months, been closed. There seems to be no evidence that anything has been moved or changed inside. The website states that it is 'temporarily closed' so I do hope that it will re-open very soon. “From the check in with a lovely lady called Jamila putting herself out to help especially as i have some disabilities , to all of the Amazing staff , the great room and all food provided including eating in the Bugis Kitchen, we experienced a most wonderful stay at The Copthorne Tara Hotel. Their was an added bonus of it being only just over a 20 min walk to The Royal Albert Hall, i really wished that i had found this hotel years ago. I would highly recommend and cannot wait to return. I also thought that all round they were very reasonable with their prices considering their location......”

Their plating was really well done, just like fine dining. The taste of the food was just as good as the presentation, and the amount of care put into making it can be felt through tasting the dishes, especially the wagyu beef roll which just melts in your mouth. Experience was better than I expected as the server we had, which looked like the manager was really good at doing her job, and the way she interacted with us was like she was a friend, which shows how experienced she was at dealing with customers. Overall, my friends and I enjoyed it and would recommend this place for anyone looking for a new place to eat Japanese food with a fair price around London, Soho.”
