“I started looking for a new kitchen back in autumn, and it wasn’t finished until midsummer the following year — a timeline that had me wondering if I’d wandered into an episode of Midsomer Murders. There were a couple of walls being knocked down and a bathroom fit out being completed as well, thankfully, no mysterious disappearances… just the arrival of a stunning kitchen which was well worth the wait. The final product is amazing with lots of character fitting perfectly with the house and the original vision. We went with an Ashley Ann shaker-style design, and it really does look the part — solid build, classic lines, and a lovely dual colour scheme that gives the space real depth and charm. It’s both modern and timeless — exactly what we were after. BCK were excellent right from the start. The pre-sales advice was clear, transparent and honest, and we felt supported the whole way through. The planning meetings were great and detailed, so good I thought I was running the showroom at one stage. Communication was strong — no black holes (even if the draw fronts felt like they were coming via Uranus at one point). Special mention to the excellent fitting team, who came in towards the end and helped bring everything together with care, professionalism, cricket chat and Oasis riffs. They really made the difference in those final stages. All in all, a solid gold five stars. Yes, there were lots of questions, but the finished result is a beautiful, functional kitchen that’s completely transformed our home. BCK delivered — and we’re genuinely pleased we found them and thoroughly recommend them for your Project.”

“Being novice in kitchen installation, we tried to do some "window shopping" either online or by visiting in person a few kitchen specialists to discuss our project of renovating an old crumbling kitchen set. We were happily surprised by the quality and the variety of choice we have been shown at the Barnet showroom of Schmidt kitchens. We made up our mind after discussing with Sara Ristuccia the in-house designer. We felt really lucky to meet an experienced interior design professional with unlimited patience in listening our multiple ideas. Sara was instrumental in making us feel comfortable expressing our views, carefully explained the functional and decorative consequences (positives or negatives) of each one of our proposals. At the end of a few appointments and constructive feedback and guidance, she helped us finalise an extremely satisfactory design for a fully functional, enjoyable and easy to live kitchen. The flavours were UNREAL, the chef is a genius. this is some of the nicest food we've ever eaten. And it's a lovely place to sit and relax, beautiful decor, lovely service. “This neighbourhood restaurant is just a few minutes walk from West Kensington. We ventured from the East after discovering this place on The Fork. It’s small, cosy and has a bit of a family feel about it. We felt very comfortable there. The menu is quite basic but don’t let that fool you. The burrata and the prosciutto were out of this world. I had the most tasty pepperoni and nduja pizza. My partner had pasta. Both were so good! Get there before 7pm for half price cocktails! The server was so attentive, friendly and on the ball. Thanks so much for looking after us. We had a great time and will certainly visit again.”

“I started my kitchen journey with Jacqueline and Karl at Casalife in June 2021 when I was doing a complete back to brick renovation of my bungalow. I had a series of delays with my build project during which, Jacqueline and Karl from Casalife showed remarkable patience, professionalism and a detailed. Knowledge of the practicalities of a good kitchen layout. My kitchen design went through many changes over that coming year until its final installation in October 2022. The advice and revisions Casalife worked with me on were invaluable. I was concerned about my tight budget and whether I could afford a good quality kitchen with Casalife - but they worked with me in deciding appliances, sink and tap, cabinets and doors with detailed 3D designs. I chose a 2 tone effect using AREDDO3 Kali with a mix of oak and Fenix finishes and some clever carousel storage solutions for my corner cabinets. During installation, Casalife quickly resolved the few technical hitches encountered. Their preferred kitchen fitter, Michael was great. Now in 2024, I added some shelving options with Casalife’s help. And my kitchen feels complete. I am very happy with my decision to go with Jacqueline and Karl and I would strongly recommend Casalife.”
