“NOT RUDE - just different cultures. SOME people think that if you don't speak with a cockney or London accent - that you are rude. Lots of people mistake BREVITY and being CONCISE as being impolite. Not so..... Different people react & communicate in different ways. Very helpful staff. If they tell you something is coming in on X day - it is. It may be small but it's densely packed. Just ask them and they are polite and happy to help. I have been visiting their store for more than 4 years. Why would I return if I wasn't happy with the service?”

    Land of the Lions

    Zoo

“Absolutely loved our family day out at the Land of the Lions exhibit at London Zoo! Right from the start, it felt like we'd stepped into a little piece of India. The attention to detail in the decor is something else – it's not just about seeing the lions, but also about feeling immersed in their natural habitat. Watching the lions felt so up close and personal. We got to see them from various angles, which was brilliant, especially for the kids who couldn't get enough. There's this one spot where it feels like there's nothing but a glass pane between you and the lions. It's thrilling and a bit surreal! What really stood out was how the exhibit tells a story, not just about the lions, but also about conservation efforts. There are loads of informative signs and interactive elements that make it super engaging for all ages. It's educational without being boring, which is a win when you're trying to keep kids interested. Also, major props to the staff there. Everyone we spoke to was really friendly and knew their stuff. They answered all our curious questions and shared fascinating facts about the lions, which made the experience even more special.”

“went to the George II for Mother's Day. Fantastic atmosphere, live singer. The Carvery was also exceptional and congratulate the Chef. Food was hot, good quality and plenty of it and options. The food was better than top London restauants iv been to which I would compare to San Lorenzo's which was Lady Di's favourite well the food and presentation was better than San Lorenzo's. Would highly recommend, On Mother's Day it was heaving but the staff worked so hard and the service wasn't compromised nor was the food.”

If you want to get on with it and fly or have a tea and coffee this is your place. Most importantly for flying, the planes are brand new, have modern avionics and the aerodrome easy place to do circuits with.”
