“This store is local to us, very convenient as it is open till late and stocks most essentials plus some really good quality foods. There are always price offers which I like to take advantage of and Co-op source their fish and other products to support sustainability. I am sure they will strive to make further changes to help tackle climate change. Well done staff, keep up the good works!”

“This place has to be the nicest cafe I've ever had the pleasure of patronising. Beautifully floral and welcoming. Staff are friendly and efficient. Food is very tasty. I've attached a photo of my delicious French toast. I also had a full English breakfast on another occasion. Magnificent.”

“This sort of coffee shop would not have existed in East Barnet Village (EBV) just 15 years ago. Things are changing, and for the better. Such a nice place to come and read, or talk with friends, or bring your laptop and do some work. The coffee is delicious (served at drinking temperature) and they have a girl who can draw anything on the top of it. A drosophila, a seal, a polar bear, a snowman, or a seahorse, a mouse, a house, even the big ball of hydrogen in the sky (the Sun), you name it, she can draw it. EBV is on the up. The only thing holding back businesses is the awful road - the road detracts from the experience of doing anything in the village. With time, this problem shall be solved. Elite cafe. Well worth a visit.”

“Fabulous local deli. They have served the local community with great deli food and groceries for many years. Ignore any bad reviews regarding surly staff. This is a family owned business who work hard to serve the various communities in the area . I am a genuine local resident so believe me you will enjoy shopping in Cockfosters Deli who have worked hard to survive against competition from the big national brands invading our high streets including Cockfosters. We need local businesses like this and need to support them”

“We love The Od Courthouse Cafe. A gem in High Barnet, especially when you have smaller children. The coffee is great (alternative milks available), food has a good variety (GF and Vegan, and dairy free) and there is plenty of space and ride one toys to keep them occupied whilst you can actually enjoy a cup of coffee, great cake and chat. We frequently come, especially during the summer. The community is what helps make a cafe like this so great, everyone is friendly, locals donate preloved ride ons/ sand toys and children have already been friendly and played so well.”

“Always so helpful and polite. Once I had medication which I had to find very quick for my baby and we couldn’t find it anywhere, it was prescribed by the GP surgery. Thanks to the owner we found the medication in another pharmacy placed in Burnt oak. He was calling the GP, trying to find alternative medication, was calling me and giving me ideas where to call, even was giving me the numbers of certain pharmacies where I can check. He really does his best. I’m please to have this pharmacy near my house. A BIG THANK YOU!”

“Sunday lunch around 12:30pm in the cafe with my husband and little boy. Many people sitting outdoor enjoying the sunshine. We chose to sit indoor but only us, no air conditioner but not hot. Comfortable. We ordered 3 things, I love the bagel most. Avocado with smoke salmon and eggs. The soup and the all day breakfast are yummy too. Around £28 total with drinks. I must come again if I go to this park next time.”

“What can I say, but WOW! Compared to other "coffee shops" in the area, it has a more extensive menu. Compared to cafes in general, the food was fresh and flavoursome, the staff were warm and friendly and the atmosphere was cordial and relaxing. The tables were very clean and even shiny.
