It’s been a real voyage of discovery. I could hardly lift a 6kg kettlebell when I started, but 11 months on I have progressed to 55kg squats. I really recommend training with Bea. She is professional, has lots of pearls of wisdom from her own experiences (duathlons, marathons, ironman, powerlifting) and has great attention to detail to help you reach your goals. I never thought I would enjoy strength training but that’s what comes with having a great PT!”

She then went above and beyond making sure I was tested for every other possible issue, vaxxed to the max and put on Prep. Terese the nurse was also wonderful - experienced, chatty and funny, she really put me at ease in what could have been an uncomfortable situation. A huge thank you to them both!”

“I have been going to see Sandra for some time now, well over a year and i must say she has been very helpful in my journey. I feel that she has aided me through some rough times and the sessions have been very much tailored to suit. The environment made me feel very comfortable and she has been very accommodating. I am a man of understanding, so the psychodynamic nature of the sessions really gives a greater understanding of why we do things, all being linked to our youth. Thus, being able to apply those to my current life and make better decisions based on what i have learned. “I’ve had the good fortune to be taken to Croydon University Hospital around 03:00 am. on Wednesday 5th November for blood test. The chest pain I had was caused by my heart, I was told. Heart attack?! For the next seven days I’ve had the best attention and the most polite care I could imagine. The food was far superior than in 2017 when I went through a similar experience in the hospital. My heartfelt thanks to everyone taking care of me, I’m truly grateful.”

“It is common knowledge that NHS is on its knees and that an average waiting time for an appointment is couple of weeks. That's why I ended up trying to deal with an insect bite turning nasty at home and kept dismissing family suggestions to get medical attention. Finally on a late afternoon on 28/08/25 I called surgery thinking this was going to be a waste of time. Well, it was amazing experience. Lovely and attentive lady receptionist listened and acted with due care. She directed me to another surgery, booked my appointment, send me location. I was seen by a doctor one hour later, got my prescription, was told where to go to get meds at that late hour. Everyone - reception team at Park Way surgery, reception team at Farley Road surgery, doctor at Farley Road surgery - were amazing. And that's not a word I use often in same sentence as "NHS", sadly. I called next day to thank the reception team. I understand the constraints but I can't help to be impressed by my experience.”

“This review is specifically for Dr Shazia Khan and the reception/admin staff. Dr Khan takes time to listen patiently and explain in a way that a patient understands their problem without feeling judged and dismissed. We all know that doctors have short appointments (10 mins only per patient) so they are very busy throughout the day and they are doing their best to see all patients on time, and like any other human beings they get tired. But when you get a kind and sympathetic doctor like Shazia Khan, at the end of consultation it feels like your problem has been solved rather than feeling guilty for calling the doctor. The reception and admin staff are very helpful as well.”
