“Brilliant tasty food that you want to have more of. Air-conditioned restaurant and full of friendly staff. Food is served hot and straight out of the kitchen. Would definitely recommend if you are looking for a local authentic Thai restaurant.”

“I really like this restaurant on the high street. The service is great and the decor and atmosphere is nice too. Never rushed to leave after finishing dinner, rather get left until we ask for the bill. It’s great for kids too as they have a nice mix of dishes which are big enough for my 13 and 10 year old girls. Food is nice a flavoursome. The staff here are all really nice and will give us good advice on the types of dishes we might like. I am a bit adventurous with my food and my family rather like the same. I always try different things and so far everything has been amazing and causes me to keep coming back. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone wanting some tasty food. It’s restaurants like this that we need to remain on our high streets. Keep up the great work and we look forward to coming back soon.”

“Such a great pub/restaurant. All the staff are so friendly and helpful. The food is delicious, the lunch time bites and small menu are great. I love the Welsh Rarebit and the bubble & squeak. So much to choose from. In a great location with walks around. Parking is free on the street.”

After a long journey, Mac made the check-in process smooth, friendly, and completely stress-free, which instantly put me at ease and set a great tone for the stay. The room itself was spotless with a unique cinema theme that made it stand out from a typical hotel room. I especially appreciated the small personal touches, a welcome card waiting in the room and a little chocolate, which was such a nice surprise and made me feel genuinely welcomed. Another thoughtful detail that really impressed me was the complimentary pastries available one of the evenings I was there, along with free orange juice for guests. It’s a small gesture, but it adds a warm, generous feel to the hotel and shows real attention to guest experience. The room was comfortable, quiet, and relaxing, and the overall atmosphere of the hotel was friendly and calm. Everything felt well organized and cared for, and it’s clear the team takes pride in what they do. “We visited during the day for a couple of pints and booked to return the same evening for our celebrations. It was such a lovely experience, Alisha was a perfect host and arranged some little touches which we very much appreciated. We experienced top end customer service which sadly some places don't quite get. The food we ordered was lovely and well presented, we will undoubtedly return and will try the afternoon tea in an Orb. Some of them are sog friendly too which is great. Thanks to Alisha for making it a memorable evening.”

As a true foodie, I’ve had my share of great bites, but these dumplings? Next level. Flavour packed, tender, with just the right amount of heat completely unforgettable. The service was just as impressive. The staff was friendly and attentive, and the assistant manager went out of their way to make sure everything was perfect. She is a genuine vibe. “I used to come here every sunday night after training with the group of friends before covid and a series of lockdowns. These friends knew this pub and the landlord for many-many years. Lockdown has bloody killed this pub, unfortunatly. I was in the area and poped to this place to check ot out. I am glad that I found it open again and fully functioning under new ownership. But this once fully packed place was absolutely empty, only staff and the owner. I want and I wish this place be busy and brimming with people and life again as it once was. Wishing lots of luck to the staff and its new owner.”

“Lovely new menu. I am vegetarian with a nut allergy. The menu had lots of vegetarian choices that is nut free. Service was great, We went for lunch and it was a little quiet. But a great place for lunch to have a lovely catch with friends without being disturbed. Staff were attentive without being intrusive. There is a great lunch time menu, as well as a set menu and a full dinner menu”

“We’re so lucky to have a lovely local Indian on our doorstep. Each time we have ordered from there our food has been 10/10. It’s so tasty, fresh and we’ve tried to order a different dish each time to savour the different dishes. I tried their mixed grill and it was out of this world. We even received some freebies as a kind gesture to say thank you for our custom. They so friendly too when you place an order and cater for all your needs. Tandoori nights is a favourite for a Saturday night takeout!”

“Room was large with a great bed, lots of different pillow types and sleep quality was excellent, rooms were also quiet. TV, wifi was perfect, lots of charge points including a EU socket. I liked the large window with roller blinds too. Breakfast had a very good range of products, self service or you could order specifically cooked eggs. Some food options nearby or their Zoom restaurant is available as was room service.. Most of all it's the first hotel I've been in where they had recycling bins in the room. A great stay, and staff were very good too.. oh and the rooms have fridges too!!!”
