“I went to headmasters in Bromley and I had an amazing experience the space was very clean and organised. I had a lovely lady called Montana doing my hair and she was so welcoming and made me feel so comfortable. Her customer service was amazing she offered me a hot drink and biscuits. It was my first time dying my hair so she explained every step she was doing so that I felt comfortable, she made me feel at ease and confident that my hair was going to turn out good ! She was so friendly and I would definitely go back again!. She made my hair look so lovely I felt like a new person !”

“All my dealings with Gurwin and Golden Carpets couldn’t have been easier. Prior to finding them I dealt with other contractors who were so unaccommodating and generally made the smallest of requests an issue and “not possible”. On dealing with Gurwin was he made things super easy and would go the extra mile. They laid the carpets very fast and the quality was excellent. Can’t recommend highly enough. Thank you”

“Managed to miss the opening of this place due to the lockdown. Finally tried it recently and, have to say, the food is good. All components are fresh and it does actually taste like Ukrainian food should taste (quite a rare occasion in the UK). The lady is very nice and friendly as well. Recommended!”

“We first used Hyperion about 10 years ago when they fitted out our study. With lockdowns and hybrid working, this has been in constant use and is still looking as slick as when it was first fitted with Hyperion visiting to complete a repair when asked. We then contacted Hyperian recently to fit wardrobes into our master bedroom. Again they did a superb job, professional at all times and always quick to respond to questions and our ideas! “My favorite little local coffee shop. The coffee is consistently excellent, and their fresh pastry selection has a few common standards with a good variety of changes from day to day. The standout for me is the atmosphere, though. Whether I’m dipping in to grab a drink ahead of my train or staying to work at a table for hours I always feel welcome there. Each member of staff is uniquely lovely and our chitchat while I wait is always fun.”

“I visited on a Sunday morning, and it was quite busy, however was fortunate enough to get a seat outside. Absolutely love the how this place is done, beautiful interiors and a lovely outside patio. I ordered a pour over (chose Pink Bourbon) and it was brewed to perfection at perfect temperature. Definitely visiting again.”

“I found Osborne through a broker and was very glad to work with a small independent. Roger is very down-to-earth and knowledgeable, you don't get the 'hard sell' but you get access to wealth of his experience. It's worthwhile having a good idea of your specification as it's much easier for them to work with you and get to a quick solution. Design and installation process was smooth. Couple of snagging issues meant return trips from the installers (not Osborne employees) but Martina & Roger were helpful in getting things sorted out. Two years on and I still completely love my 'new' kitchen. I'm writing this review from my island :0)”

The kicker? It was served in a real terra cotta pot, looking just like a potted plant—a whimsical and delightful surprise. And the taste? Ridiculously delicious—every bite felt like a celebration of fresh, perfectly balanced ingredients. Their selection of orange and natural wines was equally impressive, perfectly complementing the vibrant, earthy flavors of the food. We left feeling completely satisfied, yet already planning our next visit. The customer service was absolutely fantastic and the waitress gave the most delicious recommendations, the food was phenomenal and the restaurant was just sooooo beautiful!! We had a variety of pizzas, pastas, starters including the calamari and desserts which included the homemade tiramisu and delicious chocolate brownie and also a variety of delicious cocktails!! Everything was DELICIOUS!! We have visited many different restaurants in the Forest Hill/Sydenham area and I must say this is the best one by far!! Will definitely be visiting again - thank you!!!”

“I've eaten here a few times now with a group of friends and we have always had a fabulous time. The duck is the best I've ever eaten and my rare steak was perfect. The cocktails take a moment but are worth waiting for. There are usually six of us who eat together and a couple of them can be quite fussy but we regularly come back to Alcedo as we have never had a complaint from our group. The staff are friendly, welcoming and professional.”

“Really lovely, friendly little café that has the distinction of serving a selection of excellent loose-leaf teas - this is unusual nowadays, with so many places focusing on serving coffee rather than tea. The sandwiches are very good too. It's tucked away in a pretty, quiet street with rows of18th century houses, a few minutes away from the touristy bustle of central Greenwich. Well worth the slight detour.”
