“Visited the Runnymede hospital mainly for physio. My allocated physiotherapist was Joseph who has been amazing. He really listened to me throughout my visits and adjusted my exercises to match my many varied needs. He’s clearly very knowledgeable, in addition to exercises he also told my about shockwave therapy which is a noninvasive therapy (much better than blanket steroid injections typically offered by other therapists for pain management) and promotes actual healing. “I went to the well being clinic to help with sciatica and also persistent cold sore attacks. So far after just a few treatments my sciatica has improved and I have had no cold sores. Dr Chen is happy to explain what he’s doing and why and although it can be slightly uncomfortable as the acupuncture needles are being inserted, once in, the treatment is painless and relaxing. The option of buying the medicine is given at the end of the treatment but it is not a hard sell so I felt under no pressure to buy them. All in all I feel happy with my experience so far and intend to continue.”
