The staff at Guildford branch is very helpful. Georgia in particular was very kind and helped me select the right shoe and colour for my needs.”

“Bought 6 ember tetras here about a month ago. Despite it being nearly closing time, the staff were ever so helpful and friendly. They also showed genuine care for the fishes - they ensured that I had a fully matured fish tank of reasonable size and setting. They also gave me recommendations on where I could get good Indian Almond Leaves to manage the pH. I also saw them reject an inexperienced customer who wanted to keep fishes in a fish bowl (the fish will likely suffer), and for that, I highly respect them. The ember tetras are doing well - sorry for the algae-stained glass in the very bad picture!”

After 4 days waiting & with the function 3 days away I went in to Guildford store to chase progress. Amir was very helpful & reassured me the delivery would arrive in 2 days. “Expected it to be like any other wine/alcohol shop. Was pleasantly surprised. Stock levels are massive. They have huge selections of every spirits both small batch and mass produced. They do also take custom orders for parties or one off bottles you’d like. Staff were incredibly helpful offering detailed opinions and personal preferences. Very inclusive and welcoming. Openly admitted “the salesman in me says buy the more expensive one. The drinker in me says to buy the cheaper one as you’d enjoy it more” which I find amazing! Gave me tips and pointers for the future. They do also have a very varied collection of hot sauce and BBQ sauce which I’m in love with. New selection every 1-3 months depending on demand. By far my favourite shop for alcohol and a chat!!”

“The Little Waitrose at Shell Horsley is a genuinely convenient stop. It's more than just a petrol station shop; it's a well-stocked mini-supermarket. I appreciate the quality of their ready meals and fresh produce, perfect for grabbing a quick, decent dinner. The staff are consistently friendly and helpful, even during busy periods. While it's a smaller selection, they manage to pack in a good variety of Waitrose essentials. It's ideal for those last-minute bits, or when you need to top up on quality groceries without a full supermarket trip. The addition of the coffee machine is a nice touch too, for a quick pick me up. Overall a good experiance for a petrol station based shop.”

“I ordered my Wedding suit from AD (as the Groom) and dealt with Muss at AD in Guildford. Due to lack of Taylors in the Croydon area, I decided to head to Guildford. From the moment I stepped foot into AD, Muss was incredibly helpful, informative and helped me find my perfect suit! I picked my suit up today (because they had to order in my size of trousers). Muss was on hand whilst I tried my Wedding suit on, and discussed the best options for small modifications and tayloring. Thank you AD, I would highly recommend you for other Grooms.”

“Hi i shopped in Guildford JD this morning paid with cash , 2 young women served me and kept me waiting for ages going through the notes not just once but about 3-4 times then they said It was against the Law to accept a note with a bit of writing on it ( no it isn't i checked with my bank ) , then 1 went off for ages to “ check “ it was ok , their attitude was disgraceful made me feel like i was doing something wrong , ive shopped in there for years but never been made to feel like that or kept so long being served , very shoddy customer service .”

“Solid staffing and best service. Of the many practical, good things, like parking, seating and text notifications, the most significant is the staff. Good staffing goes unnoticed sometimes, and no doubt unappreciated. A competent staff is one thing, but here, the staff are exceedingly patient and accommodating, and there is huge peace of mind in that.”

“This store, located in Guildford zone 2, is truly a discovery! It has a large parking lot right in front of the entrance, which makes access very convenient. Inside, the care of the spaces is manic: everything is tidy and well organised. The clothing offer is very varied, with a rich selection of sportswear for men, women and children, as well as many other items that make the store particularly attractive. In addition, there is no shortage of really convenient offers and promotions. A high quality point of sale, definitely to try.”
