“Really, really lovely pizza in the evenings. Possibly the best in the Crystal Palace / Penge / Beckenham area? Don't let the front of the shop fool you, there is a lovely dining area in the back with a live grape vine covering the ceiling. With the peak summer evening heat and some Europop being played it was almost like being on the Mediterranean! Seems like they prefer people to book in advance, but they accepted our unannounced group of five, and we all seriously enjoyed our food. Definitely going back.”

I personally come for the cooked full English breakfast but there is plenty of choice on offer! Everything from sweet pastries, more savoury snacks, all of which are homemade, delicious salads and variety of hot and cold beverages to wash it down with. All the staff are fantastic and nothing is too much trouble. If you fancy something that might not be obviously on the menu, the team will endeavour to make it for you (within fair reason, of course) If you've not yet visited Pistachios in the Park cafe, and you want someting a little away from the regular side of Greenwich, with exemplary quality, this is your spot. “I went in for a colour and trim by Janet and had my hair washed by a lovely woman that gave me tips for my travel to Morocco. They both made me feel really relaxed and well taken care of. The colour was my favourite ever and while I asked for my hair to be straightened for an event, Janet understood that my hair would get a lot shorter when curly and cut it to the perfect length I’d asked for. I’ve had so many compliments so would definitely be back and recommend.”

“I've been using this Barbers since my teenage years. But I'm now bald and do my hair myself. Lol. However, I take my son to this hair salon. The Barbers are professional. Though it could get very very busy at peak times. So you'll have to targer off peak times like 3-4pm on a weekday. Friday night and Saturday mornings are a no-go area....unless you want to open the shop with them and be the 5th on the queue. Their prices are affordable as well. The Barbers respect their customers and give a courteous service. However, if you're not used to Barbers' shop, you might get turned away with their excessive chit-chatting over every issue, ranging from politics, football and entertainment. Overall, I highlyrecommend.”

“I very recently attended a five day Microcementing course with Andy. I had researched and spoken to a number of other courses all of which I found were uninterested in me but just wanted me to purchase the products they were pushing, the majority of courses out there are less than three days. Andy’s course was 5 days and it was very very good. We completed so much detailed work, not only in Microcementing but in other products and finishes too which only added to my skillset and understanding of the materials. Andy’s knowledge and teaching techniques are second to none and I genuinely feel it was a game changer having completed the five day course with him. Beware of other, shorter cowboy courses advertised with other companies. If you want a professional full to the brim hands on course this is for you!! Andy’s after course assistance is also fantastic, I speak with him regularly about jobs and he gives me advice and tips to help the process run smoothly, when you buy into his course you get the link with Andy forever and thats what is key to enable future works to go smoothly!! He is not pushy with his products and his Microcement however his products and Microcement is the best out there and excellent value for money. His advice, skillset and knowledge is genuinely the difference between his courses and others out there. He’s great crack too !!”
