“If you are looking for a no frills room that is in a superb location, this hotel is for you. I only stayed one night for business. When I checked in I was feeling terrible and I arrived early. Check in wasn't for another hour, I was going to cancel my room and book at another Marriott since I have status and usually can check in early. The young lady working at the front desk was super helpful and saw that I wasn't feeling well, I didn't catch her name I wish I had because she sprung into action. She told me to have a seat and she was going to see what she could do to help. She was so kind and empathetic and was able to get me into a room quickly so I could rest. I appreciated that gesture beyond belief! The room was clean, no frills, just a bed, small bathroom and necessities. If you've ever stayed on a cruise ship, the rooms are exactly that of a cruise ship. The location is across the street from Victoria train and underground station with food and transportation. Even though it was only for one night, it was a wonderful experience with Marriott hospitality that makes me continue to be a loyal customer.”

“I had the most amazing stay here for my birthday. The hotel was unique with stunning decor - highly unusual but brilliant. The hotel had made every effort to recognise the occasion - the room was aptly decorated with balloons and a handwritten message on the mirror. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was nice - a lovely buffet selection. My dietary needs were catered for (gluten/dairy free). The hotel is situated in Islington - a very short walk to the canal. A morning walk along the canal to Canary Wharf and back along the Thames Path was the best start to the day! There are some beautiful spots along the canal to stop for a coffee or bite to eat - these are within a 5 minute stroll from the hotel. I would highly recommend this hotel - it made a really nice change to stay somewhere a little different/unique.”

“I had an excellent experience at this restaurant in London. The food was outstanding, full of flavour, and beautifully presented. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, making it a perfect place to relax and enjoy a great meal. A special mention goes to Davide, who made the evening exceptional. He was attentive, professional, and genuinely friendly from start to finish. His recommendations were spot on and he made us feel very well looked after. Highly recommended. “A spacious, well designed and immaculately finished Victorian house with a large kitchen and beautiful garden. Very well situated near the charming, tucked away pubs, bars and restaurants of Forest Gate, a stone's throw from Wanstead Flats, and a short walk to easy transport into central London. Host Tamara is absolutely fantastic. A definite 5 out of 5 experience.”

“Location was amazing for us, the view couldn't be better(1 bedroom apartment for 4 people). Clean, fully equipped kitchen, comfortable beds all great. Would be nice to have some oil for cooking additionally to salt and paper, but not a problem to buy It was nice to have a washing machine, my preference though would be to replace it with a dishwasher (but there are so many food options around that we were eating somewhere else mostly)”

“I’ve stated twice at their apartments in Brixton. Great location and modern apartments. Good value for money, very clean and all the amenities were great. Good iron, fan, hairdryer. The temperature of the studio was great. The apartment was a little cool, so I sued the electric heater and it was great. The apartment I stayed had a full kitchen and washing machine and dish washer, which were super useful.”

“Excellent experience at Belle Baby in Twickenham! We walked in without an appointment to explore strollers and baby essentials. Ermina, store manager, was fantastic. She gave us space to browse but was quick to help when we needed it. Her approach was perfect - asking questions to understand our needs and showing relevant items without any pressure to buy. She was very informative and even suggested we take time to think before making a decision. Definitely will recommend this store for expecting parents!”

“Used this company recently for a return journey from London to a wedding in Surrey. Excellent service - they were easy to get hold of on the phone and accommodating of some last minute changes we needed to make. The cars were clean and matched the description in terms of size and space. The drivers turned up exactly on time and were very friendly and polite. They were communicative throughout, letting us know when they had set off and when they had arrived. And the company was more affordable than all of the others I got quotes from. Would definitely use them again and recommend to others.”

“A small but mighty team runs this gem of a restaurant. Delicious food and relaxed ambience makes this a perfect spot to meet a friend or two or have a date night. “I have dined here several times and each time they never fail to amaze me. I introduced my Spanish friend to Somali food yesterday and she loved it. She has an open mind and excited to try foods from different cultures and loved her experience. I over-ate as usual lol because the food is absolutely delicious especially the green chilli sauce which I love, hot but tasty. Huge man size portions and very reasonably priced especially as I tend to order lamb. Thank you for your amazing food and wonderful service.”

“It’s a lovely place and very easy to locate. The cod fish was yummy, very big and the chips was massive. It’s a crispy fish and chips. The guy that served us is a very friendly person and give’s good customer service. It’s a clean and decent place. Their spicy wings and chicken side breasts are amazing. “We went on Wednesday evening, we were greeted with a smile and showed to our table. The staff were extremely friendly and polite, and guide you with the menu. The setting is very nice and parking is easy to find. The food was quite tasty. We got the Calamari, Wings and the Prawn Tempura for starters. For the mains we got the lamb chops, wagyu surf and turf, wagyu sirloin and the wagyu t-bone steak.. and we enjoyed our food. Would I go back there again? YES! Our steaks were amazing and full of flavour,the customer service was amazing, and the overall experience was very personal. So yes, gets a 5 outta 5. Good hidden gem.”
