“I visit this lovely cafe once a year because it is just down the road from where I get my car serviced and mot’d. They open at 8.30 (ish) and let me sit in until my car is ready - which is very kind of them. They also serve a really nice breakfast baguette and keep the tea coming. They are very friendly and helpful.”

“This place surely isn't the biggest or most privately contained cafe in a hospital, but that really is the beauty of it. Run by volunteers, these people were wonderful to talk to, and not only to see them with the choice to dedicate this time, but simply considering how long some have lived for (e.g. age 92), and how good their health is. Onto the actual cafe! The price of food here from sandwiches to cafe drinks is the type of reasonable I am expecting and am so happy to see, when comparing to such, including the Costa in the hospital. In my opinion that includes the range of cakes, biscuits and bars too! Having my [veg] sandwhich toasted made it extra fulfilling, and the cappuccino was super! And it gets better: All profits made, go to a certain division of the hospital. More people should visit this cafe to appreciate the efforts devoted by volunteers here. Hospitals should have more affordable, lovingly run cafe's like this! Obviously that doesn't even have to be as a patient!”

“Sureena (hygienist) was unbelievable. That was the absolute best cleaning I have ever had in my life (and I'm 55!). I detest dental cleaning. I'd rather have fillings! My teeth are so sensitive I can't handle the scraping and noise of a cleaning. None of that happened. It was relatively painless. She described everything to me, put on numbing gel and was incredibly fast. I will never miss a cleaning appointment again! Thank YOU, Sureena!”
