“We have had an absolutely wonderful experience with Greenwood Nursery. Coming from a previous nursery where a serious case of abuse had been announced a year ago, trusting a new setting again was not easy for us. At first, we also weren’t fully convinced by the layout, as the nursery is split into two separate buildings. But in the end, this turned out to be a real positive;everything runs smoothly, and the setup actually works incredibly well. The staff are truly fantastic. They provide detailed handovers every day and post frequently on the app, where we can clearly see how busy and engaged they are with the children. Our child was excited to go to nursery every morning and absolutely loved every single member of the team. One of the things we appreciate the most is the variety of activities they offer. They don’t just stay indoors;they take the children out regularly, and they even organised visits to a local care home. This is one of the most heartwarming activities we’ve seen, benefiting both the children and the elderly residents. They also go to the playground twice a day, and at the end of our son’s final day, he came home with a whole bag full of arts and crafts he had made. Although our son is now in school and attends a different nursery for afterschool hours (purely for convenience), we truly miss Greenwood. One of their standout qualities is their openness: parents can come inside at pick-up, walk in freely, and see the children in action without making them uncomfortable or interrupting. This transparency gave us a huge sense of trust and peace of mind;something we haven’t found elsewhere, where doors barely open and everything feels much more closed off. At Greenwood, you can pop in at any time and see exactly what’s going on. They have nothing to hide, and it shows. We would 100% recommend this nursery to any parent. For us, it’s the best nursery in town. If they had an outdoor space, it would be a 10/10;but since they go outside twice a day anyway, I think they fully deserve that 10/10. Definitely give them a try. We’re so grateful for the amazing experience they provided our little one.”

“My daughter joined St. Margarets Montessori in November 2020 and we highly recommend it. Prior to her joining, we searched and vetted over 20 nursery's in and around the area and this by far was outstanding in all aspects. We never regretted our decision. The teacher's are highly qualified, so warm, genuine, caring yet extremely professional. My little one has so much fun and has also learnt lots. The montessori has a huge outside space in comparison to other nurseries we saw. The children are exposed to lots of activities and apparatus to suit all capabilities both inside and outside. We love the weekly updates with photos that we receive from the montessori and the fact that they have an open door policy for any queries about our child. My daughter loves going there and we love seeing her smiling and happy everyday at drop offs.”

“My daughter started at Little Forest Folk Twickenham just a week after turning two and attended for 2.5 years. It was her first and only childcare setting, and she loved it from day one. I've seen her grow both emotionally and physically, and I truly believe that unstructured, imaginative play has been beneficial for her-she often engages in creative play on her own at home. The outdoor setting of this nursery is an incredible way to help children develop a love for nature, no matter the weather. We feel so fortunate to have Little Forest Folk in Twickenham, and I wholeheartedly recommend it.”

“Sushi Point in Twickenham is a gem of a spot for sushi lovers! From the moment you step in, the warm and friendly staff behind the counter make you feel right at home. They’re attentive, polite, and genuinely passionate about the food they serve. The atmosphere is relaxed and inviting—perfect for grabbing a quick bite or enjoying a casual meal. The food, though, is the real star of the show. Everything is incredibly fresh, beautifully prepared, and full of flavour. Today, I treated myself to the spicy salmon sushi roll and salmon sashimi, and they absolutely exceeded my expectations. The sushi roll had just the right amount of spice, perfectly complemented by the freshness of the salmon. The sashimi was silky, tender, and practically melted in my mouth. Every bite was an explosion of flavour that left me wanting more, even though I left feeling so full and satisfied. If you’re a fan of fresh, high quality sushi served by people who care, Sushi Point is a must visit. I’ll definitely be returning to try more of their menu!”

Edgar came to install and didn't leave until the job was done even though it was late at night. His attention to detail was great and the quality of the wardrobe is clear. “A wonderful gem of a place. Coffee/tea/hot chocolate and so much more. All expertly made by the very handsome gentleman. It’s lovely to see someone who takes so much care in what they do. The coffee is amazing. Love that Niall can tell you everything about his coffee and where it comes from. He takes great care with sourcing all his ingredients. He will make sure you’re happy with your cuppa and goes the extra mile. His toasties are fantastic and so tasty!! There’s always something delicious to try. It’s so lovely to be able to sit down and enjoy your meal/coffee surrounded by beautiful plants and flowers. Four leaf is set in a family run garden centre right next to the train station. Such a gorgeous place to sit and relax.”

“What a pleasant experience. We were greeted at the door and seated by the friendly "Ben" who anticipated our needs throughout the evening. Ben brought us some complimentary warm focaccia and olives to nibble on while we made our menu choices. The menu has a good balance of dishes and I quickly decided on my choices along with a bottle of Ramaro for the table; I have a soft spot for Sicilian red wine. All dishes were well plated and tasted as good as they looked. The portions were also very generous, perhaps "Mama" was in the kitchen dishing the plates. After the meal, there was little room left for dessert, so I shared a panna cotta with my wife; I have to say that it was the best I've ever tasted. My only regret is that I didn't choose one of the seafood dishes, they looked realy appetizing. My relationship with crustacions has always been one where no matter what precautions I take while shelling them, a jet of oil always squirts out and slashes me on my shirt. Perhaps next visit I'll wear on old shirt or a bib; perhaps both.”

The service was genuinely top-notch, and every dish we tried—from the chicken souvlaki and sea bream to the saganaki, baklava, and portokalopita—was delicious. Great wine and friendly vibes made it a perfect end to a busy day. Highly recommend!”

“Went in to see if they had a suitable card for my mum and a bar of fudge. Not only did they have a lovely range of cards and my fudge, they also had those sherbet things in paper UFOs. Then I saw the range of cookware! My gosh, the potato masher I bought works a treat, slipping right through them spuds. Creamy goodness every time. Took them all home in a flower pot, which I hadn’t even known I’d needed. The owner lady was really nice too: helped me find stuff, chatted with me about guitar playing and cameras, and then opened the door for me as I wobbled out with my goods. This shop has it all. Within reason, obviously. It’s like Open All Hours for the twenty-first century, but with customers and stock and good deals every day.”

“Usually head up to Twickenham on the weekends so surprised I haven’t popped into visit this place already as been looking for a decent breakfast/brunch venue in the area. This place doesn’t disappoint. Full Breakfast and brunch menu and really attentive staff. Ordered the house breakfast with tea - very good portion (the beans surprisingly good) - also do Eggs Florentine and Eggs Bendict but next time will try the Traditional Shakshuka. Only a short walk from Twickenham station, near the William Web Ellis pub.”

“One of the best Italian restaurants in London. The pizza is actually better than the pizza we had in Florence. Brilliant Neoplitan pizza. Fresh ingredients. Also the mushroom vegetarian Ravioli pasta was excellent. Prices were worth it. I'd highly recommend visiting.”
