“I honestly can't speak highly enough of this place, a real gem of a shop with a very traditional feel. They have put carpets in the whole of the upstairs and the quality is really fantastic. We went for a thicker carpet in the main bedroom and it really was worth it although the other carpets are also excellent. Even though I didn't get my initial nose piercing done at Valhalla, she was still more than willing to help take a look at it and assist me in removing the labret bar ahead of an MRI appointment. She really went above and beyond to help me which I really appreciated. It's a very cool space and filled with what seems like great people, so I'll definitely return for any new piercings, piercing assistance, and even a new tattoo.”

“I had a great haircut from Mitzi. She was so kind and attentive. I was a little nervous from previous hairdresser anxiety but she was so attentive and put me at ease. She worked with precision and it paid off. Nothing was too much to ask for. She made every effort to make me comfortable and put me at ease. I felt bad because there were a couple of knots and she was kind about it and sorted it gently. Even when I could feel the scissors and comb and water spray on my neck, she put a towel round my neck and shoulders so I wouldn't get wet and made sure I was comfortable before carrying on and I really appreciate it. I hope to be back. Exceptional value for money too.”

“I have always got my wax done with francy I think not only is the price great but also the experience she’s always friendly and welcoming and I feel very comfortable I think she has amazing skills for a wax it’s the most quickest person that does wax and I’ve done legs armpits above lip eye brows and full Brazilian down there every wax will always hurt obviously but at least with francy it’s a quick well done job definitely recommended coming here”

“What a lovely couple who run this establishment! I dropped in and was lucky enough to get a slot for a pedicure as a walk in . The gentleman gave me a gel pedicure . He really paid attention to the hard skin on my feet and was very gentle clipping cuticles and using an electric file . He recommended a colour to me as I was very vague and used a brand which he said was better than another brand. He was very chatty and polite offering me a cup of tea. It was very relaxing and a nice quiet environment as some salons can be very busy and noisy . Overall, a really enjoyable experience not expensive either very competitive. I am already looking forward to going again. I picked a red gel colour for the Christmas season . Thank you Jimmy”

“A one stop shop for any plumbing need, if they don't have it they can get it next day, plus the prices are not pull your pants down, it's nice to find a plumbing shop where you know you won't get ripped off. Some of the bathroom suite deals are actually lower than I found on the web. Colin behind the counter is helpful and seems to know his stuff, plus he's got a sense of humour dryer than Gandhi's flip flop. Been using them for a few years now and will continue to do so.”
