“100% recommend, this place is so worth a visit. It's got a great aesthetic, full of ambience. Everything we had was delicious! the portions were a good size, after olives and delicious cheesey garlic bread, we took half our pizzas home so we could squeeze in a dessert. Top choice. Made all the better that it's all vegan , all gluten free and Byob.”

“The only place opened for breakfast this early that we could find. Walked all the way from seven sisters for breakfast. Quaint and simple spot, amazingly cheap breakfast. Spent only 5.6 for 2 as we have small stomachs. Came with coffee or choice of tea, wish more breakfast places opens this early”

“We often order from deliveroo (usually when there is a discount, as others said it’s not cheap) and always had good food delivered. There are not many full plant based indian take aways and we enjoy the variety of curries options available. The sides are very good. I think some of the bad reviews might not realise it’s vegan food and expect a cheap take away. The rice portions should be cheaper.”

“I found this little place almost by chance-and I just LOVED it. The food was amazing (price was also very low and portions enormous!), the perfect balance between spice and sour (I had their fermented flat bread with 3 different daals and 2 veggie sides). The owner is the sweetest person ever and it is more than clear that this is not a job for him, but a passion. The place is tiny (which is a pro-makes it cozier!) and super welcoming, with decor that makes you truly feel jumping into the Ethiopian culture! They offered me their typical spice tea: a must have! Just a very lovely experience, absolutely recommended if you love simple and authentic things.”

“One of my favourite coffee spots in London. The quality is consistently amazing, you can tell they really care about the beans they use and how they brew them. Whether it’s a flat white, V60, or iced filter, it always tastes smooth, balanced, and never bitter. The staff know their stuff but never make you feel awkward, just genuinely friendly people who love coffee. The space itself is calm and well-designed, perfect for a quiet break or catching up with a friend. They often have interesting guest beans and small seasonal treats too, which makes each visit feel a bit special. “This is everything you want from a steakhouse. Buzzing atmosphere, no bells and whistles, great staff, corkage and above all, top notch scran! The front-of-house lady was welcoming and warm. Our waiter for the evening, Phil, was fantastic all evening. The pigs head on toast was a nice warm up for the pallette, reminiscent of tender pulled pork and drizzled in that delightful Blacklock gravy. We brought a bottle 2018 Berry Bros and Rudd Zinfandel along with us (highly recommended with steak) and it was the cherry on top of our evening. The T-Bone chop was very nice. Although a little on the fatty side, it was cooked beautifully and tasted fresh. The grilled baby gems in anchovie dripping were quite nice but had a little fishy taste to it. The showstopper was the 600g prime rib steak. It was perfectly cooked and seasoned, juicy, tender, and didnt even need a sauce. The green sauce and Blacklock gravy were fantastic sauces however. The chips were spot on, crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. Yes the cheesecake is absolutely the go-to dessert here and it deserves such acclaim.”

“Santa Maria pizzeria is a great little Italian, overall providing great food at a great price for its location. Santa Maria is a little Italian pizzeria with relatively limited seating, but a great atmosphere and even better food. We tried both starter and mains, including the gluten free dough! Both starter and main were truly Italian, and extremely tasty. Dough was crisp, not burned and wood fired in their pizza oven. The price was very good at £12-14 for a pizza. They cater very well for those with gluten intolerance and allergies, being able to swap any bread / dough for gluten free. The gluten free food was also of excellent quality and taste - sometimes it's very obvious food is gluten free. Overall a great experience, 2x starters, 2x mains and 4x beers coming to £70 in an expensive part of town - well worth a visit.”

“Yada’s has to be one of the most authentic Middle Eastern restaurants in London. All the food is delicious but the mezze platter and lamb shawarma are highly recommended as you can try lots of authentic options in small quantities. Our favourites included the pistachio hummus and ghormeh sabzi. The lamb was divine and accompanied by the gorgeous fluffy saffron rice. Can’t wait to go back!”

“I seriously didn't think the peanut butter would work, but damn this is a really good burger. I went for the veggie millionaire, and it was awesome. Very filling though. You only need a double if you're extremely hungry. Not the cheapest burger as well, at £14, with spicy chips at £4.50, but I did not have to eat for the rest of the day. The place has many other veggie options as well, which I appreciated a lot.”

“Eaten here twice, and it was delicious both times. First was a choose your own stirfry with lots of veggies. More recently, I wasn't very hungry, so I tried the chilli garlic mogo (pictured after I'd started eating), so flavoursome and big enough for a light meal on its own. Highly recommended!”

“This 50 year old business is surely an institution at this point. The owner tells me that one of the beautifully cared for plants in the window is 30 years old, saying that is was “older than you!”. After Christmas he says it will be time to close as he will retire. The food was delicious. What a loss to the community. This is exactly what makes London, London.”

We had Chonqing spiced "meat" and veg (it's spicy be warned) aubergine, double cooked no-fish, and vegan cumin spiced lamb. All were really really tasty and so similar to what they're imitating that you don't lose any of the textural qualities of if w You were just in a normal Chinese restaurant. “One of the best restaurants I have been in London The food is amazing - freshly homemade, very tasty and very good - the mixed grilled is my favourite but everything we tried there was very good. Even we don't live nearby we make sure every few months we go there. The team is very friendly and they make you feel at home. The design of the restaurant is very cute too. Definitely we will be back soon. The food was so delicious that last time we even didn't take pictures of the mains hahah”
