“Attended a child's birthday party event here. Was thoroughly impressed with the swimming pool, good size, clean, warm temperature, lots of floats and things for the kids to play with, excellent safety and a nice little room on the side where they cut the cake and had a little party. Overall really impressed. Oh and the grounds for the school are lovely too! Easy parking available as well.”

“A lovely park not too far from beckenham High Street. We went to see the restored bandstand (Bowies bandstand!). It is an incredible restoration job, and it is so nice to see the paving around includes bricks in memory of someone or just for loved ones. This park is also the place where the first airmail service started - 1902 I think! As others say, it would be good to have better toilet facilities, and a coffee kiosk would be good.”

This isn’t the first time she has attended to me, and each experience with her has been nothing short of excellent. The very first time I came here, the lift wasn’t working and I had very heavy luggage. I was stressed, but Rashmi handled the situation with so much patience, kindness, and calmness. She reassured me, made me feel completely at ease, and even arranged a room closer so that it wouldn’t be difficult or tiring for me. That thoughtful gesture has stayed with me. Since then, every time I’ve returned, Rashmi has always shown the same level of care, professionalism, and genuine kindness. She remembers guests, she listens, and she truly goes above and beyond to make sure everything is comfortable. People like Rashmi are the reason guests return. “My children have been learning to swim with Aqua Skills for the last five years and I wouldn’t use any other swim school. They’ve had group lessons, 1:1 and 1:2 lessons and the standard of teaching is excellent. All of the instructors are friendly, patient and committed to securing progress. Unlike other swim schools in the area, group lessons are small and for beginner groups the instructors and their assistants are in the water. In our experience Aqua skills have also been brilliant at helping children to build confidence in the water and overcome any anxieties about certain addicts of learning to swim. The owners are also present at sessions and teaching sometimes themselves. They’re thoroughly lovely people and fantastic at what they do.”

“Beautiful, calm place. Perfect for forest bathing and meditation. A beautiful pond with a small waterfall for the sounds of running water. Stunning herbaceous borders. The cafe has excellent cakes. Friendly good service. No dogs allowed.”

“Selsdon Nature Reserve is a wonderful place to walk the dogs. There many loads of different tracks around the woods and fields, easy to get lost but just keep walking and you will eventually find your way back to the car. There are various entry points, I prefer using the car park which can get full but you can then park on the road. Mostly dry over the summer months, winter it can get very muddy, all part of the fun they tell me…..”

“This gem of a park, located a few blocks south of East Croydon Station, is situated on a beautifully landscaped grassy hillside that slopes gradually upwards as one walks through the park away from the station. The roughly rectangular open space that comprises the park is punctuated by mainly old-growth trees that line the paved walkways and are interspersed among the adjacent lawns. There are plenty of robust park benches along the main paths, inside the Walled Garden and adjacent to the park's southern perimeter, where there are decent views of Croydon's skyline, such as it is. Facilities within the park include swings, tennis courts, and basketball courts. No cafes are currently open onsite. Towards the summit of the slope stands a landmark, the Old Water Tower, which is not open to visitors. An adjacent path leads to a residential area through which one can easily walk downhill to Lloyd Park via mostly quiet side streets and several off road pedestrian paths.”

“Calm and a relaxing place. Lots of geese, swans, ducks and other birds. Feeding of the birds are allowed (bird seed, duck feed, grains like wheat, corn and uncooked oats only, no bread please). Good place to visit with children. There is also a small children's park nearby.”

“This is an absolutely fabulous park in Norwood. There are beautiful open spaces to walk your dog and lovely paths under trees. There is a huge lake which is home to many birds and wildlife. Very relaxing part of London. Can’t recommend enough to spend some time walking here and it is surprisingly quiet.”

“We love our swimming lessons with aquatots! The progress our daughter has made since beginning at 10 weeks has been incredible and every lesson is so much fun! We have the confidence to take our daughter swimming knowing that she is safe and love seeing her confidence grow too!”

“It looks like an attraction. However when you get near to it you will find it is just a water tower. But the castle-like tower goes well with the green scene of the Park Hill Park. It gave me a feeling of walking in the streets of Edinburgh.”

“Ashburton park is pretty spacious, with loads of greenery. There is a tennis court, which you have to pay for, a kids playground, and a basketball court. Seems like a good area for picnics and every other school holiday there is a funfair.”

“Great swimming facilities if caught at the right time of day. Easy access to a sauna, steam room and Jacuzzi. The price is good if you're willing to pay for three months membership. The only shorter option is a session pass which cost me more than I was happy to spend. Next time I think I'll hit the gym too!”

“Waddon leisure center near purely way. Hi my personal experience, as my son goes to swimming, among all the swim teacher. Jade is simply the professional swim teacher. Her caliber is simply brilliant. Kids love her. Including parents. Keep going girl. I guess her name is Correct”

“I think the classes are really good. All the coaches are very professional and very dynamic. I absolutely love the spin classes. I have been to many other providers in London and these spin classes are the best in my opinion. I like that the atmosphere is so supportive between members too, it just feels good to be in those classes. Maybe the gym area is a bit small, I do not use the changing rooms as I live nearby. I am yet to go to the swimming pool.”
