“We were had breakfast there today,(also eveing meals) the food was lovely, loved the porridge. The 2 ladies Beverly and Anita were very friendly and chatty felt comfortable and relaxed. The dinning area was clean and very well looked after We would highly recommend. Thank you it made our 2 day break go really great.”

“BEST AUTHENTIC CHINESE FOOD IN GRAYS!!! Since we found out about China Phoenix, we cannot order anywhere else. First of all, we wanted to try them because of their beef Ho Fun which nowhere else sell it and it is amazing. You can tell they make their food with love and dedication as it is always fresh, flavourful, hot and very packed. The boy on the phone is always very polite, helpful and friendly. No other Chinese food delivery tastes like this. Super recommended and our go to are the beef ho fun, nasi goreng, Hong Kong style sweet and sour chicken, sesame prawn toast, beef in black bean sauce and special chow mein. Defoo worth a try!!”

“I'm sure other people have had bad experiences but honestly I couldn't fault our experience with Fabb Lakeside at all. The sales rep (can't remember name, sorry!! Lady with a Brummy accent?!) was so polite and friendly and definitely not at all pushy. We came back twice really unsure whether to go ahead and buy the sofa but at no point at all felt pressured.. in fact it was totally relaxed. She was very helpful when we had questions. We were told about 6 weeks which seemed very good for a large corner suite and would have been satisfied even if it took a little longer but 6 weeks after purchasing we got our call to say it's ready for delivery. Delivery was quick and tidy, they took all the rubbish with them. Genuinely couldn't fault a single step in the process. Maybe we were the lucky ones but considering we're super happy with our sofa and it was about £1000 cheaper than similar sofas elsewhere, I'd still say to consider this place!”

“I really like meat balls and mashed potatoes here. Delicious and cheap. Deserts are good. But less meal selections. Good place to have lunch during the ikea shopping. Heavily crowded, but you will find a place to sit as there is enough space.”

“Really loved it here, new restaurant on boardwalk in Lakeside, was on the way to Wagamama but saw this and walked in. Service, Food and drink along with the restaurant and location are nearly faultless, or they were for our visit. Good bits Cocktails: honey bee and rum crumble delicious Starters: Lobster bonbons and King prawn and Lobster bites dish, presented beautifully and delicious, was piping hot also Mains: Ramen broth with sirloin, spicy and interesting, better than Wagamama (bit more expensive but worth it). Wagu burger with truffle fries, very hot and fresh, moist lovely texture Bad bits Am really being critical here and these are mentioned as to help the restaurant Glass stuck to table (I pretended to be a magician and two waitresses couldn't move it) table and / or glass obviously not clean and dried 100% Fantastic meal and visit, thanks very much was first meal out in a long time Good luck with this new venture and we will return soon Waitress spilled a bit of my cocktail”

“Helpful, obliging, not particularly expensive. Also repair electrical appliances at a reasonable cost. Sorry they moved from grays to South Ockendon as they were only a 10 minute walk from where I live. If what you want isn't in stock they will order it for you. A friend of mine had a new hob supplied and fitted, and highly recommends them”
