Quality dining in Uxbridge

“We have been dining at Sahara Prince of Wales since it opened and it has always been exceptional. The food is consistently delicious, with the fish a firm favourite. Generous portions, reasonable prices and excellent quality keep us coming back. The warm atmosphere and attentive staff make every visit special. Whether for a casual meal or a celebration, Sahara Prince of Wales never disappoints. Highly recommended for its fantastic food, great service and welcoming vibe.”

“We enjoyed our first meal here. - we had prawn Murta, prawn biriyani, popadoms, rice and aloo gobi and a couple of soft drinks. Bill for both of us was £50 which we felt was very fair. We gave a tip as it wasn’t included in the bill. Service was excellent. Definitely will go again.”

“So had heard about this place and thought we'd check it out. clean n tidy but a bit limited on the seating even though they have plenty in the back , so sought it out lads. Ordered 3 different style burgers, Beef, Chicken both fried and grilled. Honestly can't fault any of them. Food was full of flavour and all done very well. Presented well with good sauces too, Chips were also fresh. Good Value as My double meal was £10.50 . Have already recommended to a few people BUT have to stress that the rest of the seating needs to be sorted. Great for me and my boys BUT not something for the family till there's more sit down options.”

“Stopped into the Harrow location on our way back to the Midlands and had a really pleasant experience. We didn’t have a reservation but the lady receiving guests showed us to a table for two straight away. There were plenty of patrons but the atmosphere was pleasant and not too noisy or overwhelming. We had the butchers block and a selection of drinks that had plenty of fresh fruit and ice served with them as advertised. Our server, Nicole, was very friendly and welcoming and was attentive to our needs, as well as those of a large party seated next to us. She had a warm and approachable demeanour that helped two out of towners feel at ease :)”

“My new favourite Thai restaurant in West London! They serve Northeastern dishes like bamboo shoot salad and Esarn style papaya salad. All so delicious. The price was reasonable too. Two guests (without drinks) was about £40. The owner was friendly and the servers were all helpful. The venue is not the most stylish but colourful. Booking is essential. I would definitely recommend the restaurant.”

“Can't say enough nice things about this place. The food is absolutely amazing and super authentic (biryani deserves a massive call out) but what sets the place apart is the extremely warm service that makes the experience a million times better. We did not carry cash with us and the owner actually offered us to pay later. We did not expect this and the warmth and generosity really touched us. Highly reccomended!”

“Hands down the best Chinese around. We have been here several time and have ordered many takeaways. Always friendly and welcoming, food is fresh, hot and always tasty. Crispy duck one of our favourites, pan fried noodles are always ordered. Chilli beef one of my go to dishes, prawns with ginger are delicious, all of the starters are equally delicious. I fairly certain we have tried at least one of each menu item over the years.”

“This place surely isn't the biggest or most privately contained cafe in a hospital, but that really is the beauty of it. Run by volunteers, these people were wonderful to talk to, and not only to see them with the choice to dedicate this time, but simply considering how long some have lived for (e.g. age 92), and how good their health is. Onto the actual cafe! The price of food here from sandwiches to cafe drinks is the type of reasonable I am expecting and am so happy to see, when comparing to such, including the Costa in the hospital. In my opinion that includes the range of cakes, biscuits and bars too! Having my [veg] sandwhich toasted made it extra fulfilling, and the cappuccino was super! And it gets better: All profits made, go to a certain division of the hospital. More people should visit this cafe to appreciate the efforts devoted by volunteers here. Hospitals should have more affordable, lovingly run cafe's like this! Obviously that doesn't even have to be as a patient!”

“After checking so many online mattresses and reading opinion I decide to check in shop. Prince was looking after us. We used many options. Check the machine for matching mattress and finally i choose one. Delivery was great. Unfortunately we had to change date for delivery and was no problem to do that. I just love my mattress. In the evening I am just looking reason to go earlier to bed, eg reading book.”

“The Daniel's team are great. I've purchased all of my mattresses from here over the years. They have a range of quality products at great prices (better than online). The service of taking away the old mattress makes life really easy.”

“We visited during the day for a couple of pints and booked to return the same evening for our celebrations. It was such a lovely experience, Alisha was a perfect host and arranged some little touches which we very much appreciated. We experienced top end customer service which sadly some places don't quite get. The food we ordered was lovely and well presented, we will undoubtedly return and will try the afternoon tea in an Orb. Some of them are sog friendly too which is great. Thanks to Alisha for making it a memorable evening.”

“What a wonderful traditional fish and chips shop. I ate in the restaurant today and was served the best piece of haddock I've tasted all year! It was full flavoured, fresh and with a perfect light but crispy batter. Served with superb chips. Service was excellent as well. I highly recommend!”

“We bought a Nabru sofa back in 2013 and were impressed then, and recently decided we wanted to get another. I was a bit concerned when I saw some of the negative reviews on here, wondering if the company had gone downhill since we last bought from them! But I needn't have worried - our new sofa was delivered perfectly on time, two working days after we had ordered it. We paid extra for assembly this time and I'm so glad we did - the delivery guy was very friendly and he expertly assembled the large corner sofa in just 30 minutes! We love our new sofa, it looks fab and very comfy. Thank you Nabru!”

“This thursday we collected a takeout from Arman. It was an amazing pick me up I needed and the kids enjoyed it too. I've been meaning to do a Google review of them for ages. Its one of the regular places we go to for Indian cuisine. Ive had many meals from them and thursday nights was excellent and tasty as usual. The quality of the food is of high standard and the staff are friendly too. We didn't order any rice, we love curry with naanbread. So below are the pics and this was food for a family of 5 (3kids under 13). We ordered: Chicken tikka Chicken balti Sheek kebab Keema peas Onion bhajis garlic naan Peshawar naan Plain naan Salad and mint sauce come complimentary.”

“I came back to Abu Zaad after 20 years and the place is as amazing as I remember it from before. The food was fantastic and the ambience great. Decor provides an authentic Middle Eastern feel. The prices are more favourable than comptetitors on the same road. Thinking that the restaurant may have rested on its laurels after all these years. I can say I was genuinely not disappointed! Would recommend to others for sure.”
