“My girl Aura stayed at Purley Cattery for a week. My Dad dropped her off for me and he was very happy with the cattery and felt that Aura was in great hands. “Amazing service - quick, friendly, fairly priced. My car broke down on Monday afternoon and Purley Garage not only set me up with a speedy recovery (I was stranded with my toddler - shout out to Road Home recovery), but also fixed the clutch and rear shock absorbers the next day. I'd called several garages in a panic, but they couldn't help with recovery and had all got 2 week waiting lists and I really rely on my car. Purley Garage truly saved me this week, I highly recommend them and will definitely use them in the future”

“Been here before to pick up just avocado maki; this time I was in a rush so explained this to the shop owner who was professional and polite, said he could make me up a sushi box in the 10 mins I had if I chose quickly. After changing my choice a couple of times he was patient enough to go with it and I settled on the Omega Box (8 Salmon & Avocado Rolls, 6 Salmon Maki, 6 Avocado Maki) which came with soya sauce, wasabi paste (firmer and drier than usual sushi box wasabi, possibly better quality?) - with a 10% takeaway discount it came to £11.69. Sushi rice was room-temperature (as best enjoyed), well-seasoned and good texture, fresh-tasting fish and avocado, with a good amount of filling in the salmon & avocado rolls; really enjoyed and plan to return!”

“Best DIY shop I’ve ever been. The staff saw me carrying some bulky stuff and ran to open the door for me voluntarily. Once inside, the return process was fast and easy. Both Milan and the shop manager Shane was a pleasure to deal with, friendly, cheerful and most approachable. I am most impressed!!!!! Well done everyone.”

“I was sent unexpectedly to phlebotomy today and so rather than risk the queue at CUH I decided to go to Purley Hospital. I am so glad I did. I saw Wendy, the phlebotomist who was astonishingly fantastic. For only the second time in my life I could honestly say I didn't feel the needle going in. She was so well organised that it took mere moments for the three or four files of blood to be taken. People always struggle getting blood from me, A&E on Sunday were horrendous but Wendy was amazing. She could certainly teach them a thing or two. Please don't ever leave Wendy.”

“My daughter has been attending Art K with Jess for almost 2 years. In that time we have seen such leaps and bounds in her artistic nature, as well as growing confidence in herself. She loves coming to class every week and also attending the holiday workshops. We can’t recommend Art K enough! Such an amazing place for creatives! “I have been working at Purley Oaks for over 10 years now as a class teacher , both in Year One and Reception. I can honestly say that I love it here. Everyone is so kind and welcoming . We all help each other out no matter what year group we are in or what job role we have - we are a great team! I was advised when I was an NQT to keep moving to different schools but I really don’t want to be anywhere else! In Reception we are a fantastic team and work very closely together. We have such fun and it is amazing to see the children progress throughout the year. I feel that in Early Years we give children a great start to their learning careers!”

“We went into Halfords in Purley to renew gear wires on our bike. Was served by Kamani. He gave excellent service and was extremely kind and polite. Booked our bike in to be repaired. Great communication. When we went back he carried the bike down the stairs and put it into our car. Wonderful service. Kamani is a credit to your store. Would highly recommend.”

“Send my daughter here and this is her second nursery. Very very happy with all the team here. My daughter’s key worker is amazing and genuinely makes us feel our daughter is properly cared for. We stayed for a little bit one afternoon for a Father’s Day stay and play and you could see the bond that they had made. It was heartwarming to see. If we had another baby we wouldn’t hesitate to send them here. Thank you to all the staff for all the amazing work you do!”
