We visited the shop and the quality of advice we got was first-class, nothing was too much trouble - much like John Lewis USED to be! When you include delivery, door reversal etc. the cost was more than comparable to the big white goods web sites that begin with 'A'. When it came to delivery and installation, the experience was, again, efficient, helpful and polite. Having bought so much stuff over the internet in recent years I have to say that it's brilliant that shops like this are still around. I would definitely use them again and enthusiastically recommend them to anyone that is local and in the market for electricals / white goods.”

“I've only ever driven through Cheam before my visit yesterday, a trip by public transport (tram and train) from Croydon specifically to visit the Whitehall museum, housed in a grade II* listed former domestic dwelling dating from before the reign of Henry VIII. While the museum is an important place of reference for local history, geared more towards children than adults, it also houses the excellent Freedom Caffe' tearoom. The restrictions imposed by such an old, historic house may mean they can't use a normal commercial coffee machine but the range of soft drinks is impressive and more importantly, the vegan options for lunch are delicious. I highly recommend both the vegan sausage roll with salad and the vegan Greek. Then there are the cakes... The only vegan option on the day was a chocolate pear and apple cake but it was gorgeous and the staff were attentive and friendly and the food reasonably priced. I also noted the fresh pasta preparation. There's more to Cheam than the museum but whatever else you're doing it's well worth making sure you visit the Freedom Caffe' for a drink and a bite to eat.”
